Re: December 7, 1941 - A Day to Remember

Thanks to all who were part of the effort. 07-DEC-1941 was a tough start to an even tougher war in the Pacific. On a related note, I just went to the Pacific War museum in Fredericksburg less than a couple weeks ago (thanks to surprise_i'm_armed for the suggestion!). For those who are nearby, I high...

Re: You favorite rife ? Shotgun ?

An FN PS90 brings you back to your childhood? Just my pleaseexplain .02, LeonCarr I was a bit obsessed with it as a kid. It was prominently featured in a lot of media back in the mid/late 90s (video games, tv shows, etc). It was one of the first firearms I've ever really yearned to own, due to its ...

Re: Top handguns in your opinion?

I don't care. As a 1911 afficionado, I will include the 1911 in my personal, totally subjective rankings of top handguns for me. Of course, I own all of these, but it makes sense since I would buy what I feel are the best before I start buying lesser ones, right? Fortunately for the OP, the 1911 is ...

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this month. I'll be on a business trip to Commiefornia. I'll be sure to make it next month, though.

Re: Concealed Carry Reciprocity is on the Move: Your Lawmakers Need to Hear from You NOW!

More libtard drivel: Are Gun Control Advocates Liars, Or Just Stupid? The latest example that makes me ask the question comes from the New York Times. In particular, columnist Gail Collins, who writes this bit: The House Judiciary Committee just voted to make it impossible for a state to always kee...

Re: Undocumented migrant Murderer of Kate Steinle in San Fransisco found not guilty

Involuntary manslaughter in California occurs when one person kills another unintentionally, either 1. while committing a crime that is not an inherently dangerous California felony, OR 2. while committing a lawful act which might produce death, without due caution. https://www.shouselaw.com/involu...

Re: You favorite rife ? Shotgun ?

I can't really pick a favorite. I love most of mine, and they all speak to me in some way. Remington Speedmaster 552 because it was my dad's, Savage 110 because it was my first rifle I ever bought, FN PS90 because it brings me back to my childhood, but there are two that always come to mind when ask...

Re: Bellagio Las Vegas casino robbed at gunpoint

On an unrelated note, my white, male friend was just showing off his super expensive snobby looking dinner last night along with the super awesome view from his Vegas hotel. Hrm... Considering that there are so many people around, being armed means the security won't try to get an armed perp for fea...

Re: Supreme Court rejects 2 gun rights appeals

It's a good thing I live by a lake. Haha. It's getting harder and harder to trust party lines anymore. With a Republican controlled federal government, 2A isn't improving. In fact, it may be the opposite. Oddly enough, all Obama (D) did in his 8 years with gun control is let us into NPS controlled t...

Re: Austin.....sure it is in Texas?

To the topic of bags. The plastic bag ban is a bit overreaching, in my opinion. This has to do with people not responsibly disposing of them. Seriously, it's like making paper or cans or glass jars illegal because people won't recycle or toss them securely into the trash. I don't know about the rest...

Re: Remington faces default

The lackluster 700 series, the declining quality of the 870, their lack of any decent semiauto shotguns... yeah, I'm not surprised either. In many markets, bottom line is typically key, but not in the firearms market. Quality and reliability is key. I have a Remington 11-87, 2-1100's and a couple o...

Re: Police Chief Realizes Gun Missing - After 4 Days

It would appear that one Arizona police chief doesn't give a lot of attention to his service weapon. After a meeting in a library, he changed clothes in the rest room and left his gun behind. So far, not good - but it happens. However, he reportedly didn't notice it was missing for 4 days. Not good...
