Re: Benbrook PD Called for Gun Tshirt in Park

. I noticed as we entered the auditorium that a lady was really staring at us but I just figured that she didn't know why 3 men not affiliated with the school were there. After the program as we were leaving she made it a point to come up us and say " I wouldn't let my child have one of those ...

Re: Front Sight Focus---Or Not...

I just got back from the range. My last two mags were shot using double taps. Target was out about 4.5 yards and was a standard 12 x 18 size target. Inside range, so I can't holster draw, using my hammer fired DA/SA 9mm with no safety and hammer down, low ready and eyes either closed or looking down...

Re: Benbrook PD Called for Gun Tshirt in Park

Does anyone remember the movie "To Sir With Love" Sidney Poitier. The main basis of the movie is trying to move these underprivileged high school kids into the real world. In one part of the movie he takes them on a field trip and does a social experiment. He has one of the young boys dres...

Re: Bill of sale?

Legally I don't think so.. CYA however.... I always try to insist on a bill of sale with the description and serial number along with the buyers / sellers drivers license or LTC number attached. That way if there was ever an issue with the firearm being stolen, etc. I have a paper trail.

Re: Benbrook PD Called for Gun Tshirt in Park

Quote the linked story: “I figured I might get some comments or looks,” Johnston said. If Johnston didn't want to go to Chicago, then why did he get on that train? He fully knew that he was getting on the train - he said so himself! Johnston wearing that shirt is analogous to the young woman with t...

Re: What are the gaps in your collection?

There are 3500 different makes and models of firearms out there (I pulled that # out of the air).. I have about 16, so I guess what's missing is 3482 of them. :fire

Re: Carters Country!!! Dang it!

Gosh, What a name from the past.. I started shopping at Carter's Country in the late 70's. I don't think I've been there in over 30 years..(Of course I moved to Dallas 25 years ago). Back then it was just a long 2 lane road way out in the country to get there with hardly anything around it. I wonder...

There is another trending post right now “Should I carry a .22”. I think you might have your answer. I also wonder what drugs he might have had in his system.

Re: CC a Ruger LCP 2? What are your thoughts?

You may find that you will end up with 2 or 3 different guns that you will carry. Winter / Summer and location will all make a difference. My normal day to day is a Ruger LC9s in my IWB holster. But if I am just in gym shorts and running through the drive through, I'll just tuck my LCP in my pocket ...
