Re: Full Armor Gun Range - Houston

Uh.. Yea... Not gonna happen... I leave here with at least 12 - 16 pre loaded mags. In all seriousness if both myself and my two boys took everything we had to the range and pre loaded before hand.. There would be over 30 different mags loaded... I'm talking almost 600 rounds here... 17 9mm mags ~17...

Re: Remington Bucket Rebate

Mine came in yesterday and already earmarked for a new 9mm purchase. I had a bet with myself on how long it would take for that check to burn a hole in my pocket... Ummm.... 3 hours.....

Imagine having a few of these attached to all of the facial recognition cameras that are everywhere.. See the bad guy.. BOOM.... Could even be modified to inject a knock out drug instead...

Re: New "Air Cooled" Holster from Alien Gear

I'm a big fan "pun intended" of AG Holsters. While not necessarily interested in this new product it does make me happy to see so many new innovations coming out of the gun and accessory industry lately. With the ever changing laws and rise in concealed carry there has been a lot of activi...

Here is a link to a post just like this made several years ago. http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=51999 But I copied one particular post from that below.. I don't know if this user still comes to the forum or not, but thought it worth posting. e: Blind CHL applicant by mikeloc » Wed Jan 2...

Re: Pulled over for speeding - you won't believe what happened next!

Sort of a different encounter I had many years ago. Sometime around 1993 or so. I was working on a phone system at a DPS station in the San Antonio area. I had been there for about a week so kind of started getting to know a few of the officers. One day I got into a conversation with one of them abo...

Re: SAR 9 - 9mm Semi-Auto - Own One?

:confused5 I've never heard of a SAR 9, so I googled it. A few independent reviews indicated the same things that you read about other cheapies and imports. The SAR 9 is a striker fired gun, so Tex1961 must be talking about a different gun. www.thetruthaboutguns.com states that the trigger is "...

Re: SAR 9 - 9mm Semi-Auto - Own One?

Beiruty, Thanks, I'll keep that information for the future. I don't own a SAR 9...yet. Tex1961, you posted: "I had a chance to buy one at a great price, but honestly, once I tried the trigger I put it right back down" What specifically did you dislike about the trigger and thanks... In si...

Re: SAR 9 - 9mm Semi-Auto - Own One?

I had a chance to buy one at a great price, but honestly, once I tried the trigger I put it right back down. For the same price range I own both a Canik TP9SF and a Ruger SR9E... and they are both worlds ahead on the trigger.. Especially the Canik... I would recommend a trigger job if you really lik...

Re: New and improved sights

If you knew how bad my focus was then you’ll understand for me just actually seeing all 3 at the same time is considered in focus. I was to the point that I couldn’t even bring the front sight in focus anymore.

New and improved sights

I was able to get new sites on 11 guns for about $400.00 They’re called NEW GLASSES Wow, I knew I needed a new prescription “I wear progressive lens” but dang, I’ve been having a dickens of a time keeping my front, rear and target all in focus. I take that back, it’s been downright impossible, but n...

Re: Alien Gear Shape Shift Holster System

Try using the smalller aiwb holster in your 4 o’clock. I prefer the regular larger one. Something I changed though when I started CCing was to buy a front pocket wallet so that I wouldn’t have to try to reach into my back pocket anymore. Also give it some time. I can slip the full holster on in no t...

Re: Audie Murphy "To Heck and Back"

It's closed now, but did anyone ever get a chance to eat at Dovie's in Addison... It used to be his ranch house. We ate there once probably 15 years or so ago... It was really nice.

I've been checking https://remington.rebateaccess.com/status.php every few days since I mailed my rebate in maybe a week after you did. It finally updated the other day that it was being processed with an assigned Tracking ID. That's all I have right now. Thanks for the link... Shows processing and...
