Re: Ever Used Glow-On Paint To Brighten Iron Sights?

Bought some of the Glo-On paint to try it out. Works good if it is hit by light, not so good if brought out of concealment in the dark. So I picked out the paint and dabbed some real bright yellow nail polish on the sights. Worked a lot better and cheaper than the Glo-On, but that's just my opinion....

Signed. Although I only sign into FB every couple months, I posted this there as well. Every Texan needs to spread this as much as we can.

Re: Big Cat in Boerne

If I recall correctly, there were some reports of a mixed breed of cat, one between a house cat and a bobcat and was pretty tall and had a long tail. I have yet to see pics of one, but they most likely exist. On the other hand, I have seen many regular bobcats and a black panther once. The panther s...

Re: Would You Favor Special Privilege?

I do not agree with having a tiered license or a license at all for that matter. Having a tiered licenses will segregate gun owners as a whole and eventually have bad feelings towards each group. It's the same as it is now with social classes and the Gov. uses this to manipulate and control most of ...

Saw this sign the other day at BanCorpSouth Bank, this was the only visible sign. I didn't go in, was taking a buddy by his bank, so don't know if there other signs inside.

Re: CC in banks

I have yet to OC in my bank, but do cc. I somewhat know the president of the bank and I want to have a sit-down with him and get his clear views. Ya know, just a friendly chat on what the responses would be by other employees there. I don't think I would raise any alarm, been a member there for abou...

Re: Is the word "hero" used to freely?

Hero: one who selflessly risks life, liberty, etc. in order to protect the life, liberty, etc. of others. I will add just a bit more to that: Hero: One who selflessly risks or is willing to risk life, liberty, etc. in order to protect the life, liberty, etc. of others. That being said, every male i...

Re: background check question

Traffic tickets do not count against you, unless you still owe them or bench warrant is in effect. If that's all you had, then you will be approved. Only took 10 business days to get my id after all was submitted (9/16/17). Maybe you will have the same luck and have yours around the 24th.

Re: 3rd Generation Smith and Wesson slide lube

I use 3-in-One oil for the most part and white lithium on slide track. I have a can of Blaster aerosol white lithium, I spray a little in a cup and use a small paintbrush to apply it.
