Re: TN: Waffle House shooting leaves 4 dead, several injured

For those who haven't seen the WH no guns sign: If it wasn't left off when the building was built, it is often around 12 feet off the ground , it is yellow and black and tends to blend in with the building and is usually 20-40 feet away from the only public door to the building. Have fun finding it...

Re: Carrying target ammo or hollow point?

Yeah, but 9mm parabellum and .45 CAP have been around a century, My whole comment was intended to be fasciitis though and not intended to be taken too seriously. Playing the caliber wars can be fun sometimes. ah i gotcha.. i was kinda confused as to what you meant by new fad cause it seems like eve...

Re: TN: Waffle House shooting leaves 4 dead, several injured

I found it strange that the man who fought the nut case and took his rifle away from him stated at first he thought the shots were plates falling that the cook had stacked, all the emplyees scattered and he went towards the bathroom and was shot at through the door, then later he talked about the n...

Re: Carrying target ammo or hollow point?

I buy mine online. Lotsa sites, lotsa ammo choices, and with a little time and a little luck, you can find some pretty good bargains. ive used freedommunitions once. i bought 1k rounds. the prices arent too terrible... its a few cents less per round than it would be in the store. and if your order ...

Re: Austin based Yeti quits doing business with NRA

I have to confess that I am mystified. Just what does Yeti think they are going to gain from this? Are David Hogg's teenage twitter followers all going to go buy Yeti products now? Yeti's flagship product is designed to keep a 12 pack of beer cold for a week. Do they think Biff and Buffy need this ...

Re: Carrying target ammo or hollow point?

Obviously, it is better to test repeatedly if you can afford it - but not everyone can afford it. But if you can afford to, buy the following: Man oh man. some self defense ammo is expeeeensive.... speaking of ammo i went to my local atwoods today and asked if they ever got any 40 S&W hornady a...

Re: Austin based Yeti quits doing business with NRA

over priced cups. you can go to wal mart and get one for about $9. seen side by side tests on youtube. the $9 cup and the $60 cup keep ice cold about the same. guy placed 10 ice cubes in each cup and left them overnight. the results in each cup were pretty much the same. couldnt really tell a diffe...

Re: Would you buy this 1911?

To me it's intellectually dishonest to lump all 1911's together when speaking on reliability. Often if not every time a 1911 is compared to another gun, it is compared to a gun manufactured by a single company with its own tolerances and quality control. All 1911's are not created equal, where for ...
