Re: Any point in hog hunting during daylight hours ?

Tricky thing about hogs, they don't have patterns or habits. Somthing diffrent every day

I'd set up a feeder and put a camera on it, see what you see before you spend much thine hunting

When it's cold, you will find them where ever there is food, regardless of time of day

Re: Holster Recommendations for the SA EMP 40

Get a leather holster for that gun.

I dig sparks for leather

Nice guns get leather holsters, plastic guns get plastic holsters.

I don't even mind the heat anymore, we just need lots of rain, and not all at once.

Re: Sig finally put up their Ultra (1911) on their website.

$1099 is in line with the Para LDA/PDA and the EMP. I bet they retail under $1000 I would definitely consider this over a Para (I'm not a fan of Para or their quality) and the EMP is definitely out of the question because it's in a diff caliber. :) i'd have an EMP if it was in 45 i will look at this.

Re: A question of Armadillos

Surely you know someone with a hunting license and a powerful air riffle

They can also go to SAMs and get 2 or 3 big things of chili powder, spread it over the whole yard. But that will just move him to the next yard

Re: first pistol for my son? opinions welcome

i've run the rugger lots, own the browning, and I honestly can't tell the difference, just grip. it's hard to beat the P22. I've not shot my browning sense i got the p22. My buddy leaves one in his truck for PD, and i make fun of him for that, but I reach for it ever time we see a rodent on property...

Re: M&P 45 compact

How does the m&p 45c shoot? I've gotten to like the 45acp, but really only shot it in full-size

Recently got my wife the m&p9c, and really thought about getting my self one in 45
