If the public figure lies about me, I want a court reviewing the lies and taking appropriate action against the liar.

Re: Texas Ranger pulls gun on driver who flipped him off

Out of line - I do agree with, but that doesn't necessarily mean illegal. We see a lot these days where right/wrong are used interchangeably legal/illegal and we know they actually aren't interchangeable. (and out of line by the Ranger standards is a lot more stringent than out of line by most othe...

Re: The Fifth American War

The other "wars" he writes about, such as the Hippie revolution, were hardly in the same league as what may be coming next. I fear a violent clash of cultures which we have not seen since the War For Southern Independence.

Re: How to check if a premise is 51%?

I once walked into a restaurant and sat down to eat lunch, carrying as always. After finishing lunch, I walked out and only then saw the red sign on an inside wall where it was only visible as you were either leaving or looking out the entry door, which I didn't do while I was there. I'm certain tha...

Re: Texas Ranger pulls gun on driver who flipped him off

:iagree: I have survived being flipped off, cussed at, and criticized, and never had to resort to deadly force. Those who engage in such behavior, are not worth my time, so any response on my part, is taking time away from me and mine. Besides, a friendly wave, seems to put people at a disadvantage...

DPS Contact Info

OK, I know the rule about not openly posting DPS "direct" phone numbers, so I am not asking for that to be done. However, since I have heard nothing from the state about scheduling a class, I thought I would try one more time to try to get a live human on the line at DPS. On the website, h...

Re: Husband can't get an LTC; what about wife?

No, its not really your business. It is her right to to be able to protect herself, and her responcibility to make sure he doesn't have access to them if he has been legally denied the right. Its her responsibilty to fill out the forms completely and honestly . :iagree: But, with that said, it is Y...

Re: Where are all of the "printers"?

There is a principal, involved, and while, it's well within the officer's authority, to inquire about an LTC, to do so, just because, "he can spot someone carrying" is, in my opinion, not really justified. I have had nothing but positive interactions with LEO while carrying, and have only...

Over the years I have tried to call a number of times on different issues. Never been able to get a live person on the phone.

Re: Looks like DPS Says I'm Good--How Long To Notification?

Yep, been a couple of weeks now since I show everything complete except the class. Still no contact on scheduling a class. The longer they wait, the more things get scheduled in my regular job, and the harder it will be to take off to make a class. I think they realize that this is not a full time j...

Not so much concerned about the legalities involved, just wondering if others have noticed what I haven't been able to.

Re: Property/Legal Question Regarding Firearms

Archery1 has a good point. If this shop has some of "his" guns on consignment, how do you know that some of "his" guns aren't really yours? Are all of the consignment guns on display for you to see? Could some be hiding in the back of the shop?
