Re: I want to keep my guns.

If guns and football don't mix, it's far more Constitutional for the government to ban the NFL outright than to infringe the right to bear arms at NFL games.

Re: FL: Active shooter at high school in South Florida

I have a multitude of questions -- not about hardware used or tactics, but about the things that ultimately lead one human being to prey on others. America doesn't have a "gun problem" but rather a cultural problem. Violence as a form of expression has become normalized. Look at the viole...

Re: Sig Mosquito or Walther P22?

I have the compact P22 and it's finicky. I bought it to use as a kit gun but it's not reliable enough for that role. I should've got a DA 22 revolver, and still may.

Re: For anti-2A zealots, there's never enough reasons to take your weapons

The same study said homicide is five times more likely when a gun is present during a domestic violence incident. And double bull on that. If the defender has a firearm, it isn't homicide it is self defense. And that is what they should be pushing - arming not disarming. Oh, but it is homicide, alb...

Re: NFA tax stamp and your local TX gun range?

I also disagree with the conclusion that OWB is inherently much faster than IWB, given comparable cover garments or lack thereof. However, I'm willing to look at the data with an open mind if you can share it. What data? lol it's just logic. No data, only conclusions. I see. Carry on, superstar. :t...

Re: NFA tax stamp and your local TX gun range?

Just like the requirement that we as employees have to carry IWB, no OWB carry. James My curiosity compels me to ask what's the rationale behind this one? Cosmetic uniformity, like all employees wearing a company logo shirt? I would like to read about their pseudo-ATF governing powers. :headscratch...

Re: Mossberg Shockwave

Franklin Armory's new Reformation makes me wonder if a straight grooved barrel could be likewise assembled on a virgin 590 receiver to make a 14" barreled non-shotgun with a full stock. Unless it was a .410 barrel (i.e. under 1/2" bore) they would probably say it's a destructive device. G...

One news report says the cooler contained medicine worth $5k so that would be a State Jail Felony in Texas, right?

I don't know any law against them posting that sign or enforcing the BB gun ban.
