Seems to me I recall hearing that Shep is definitely not a "straight" news reporter...

Re: Sub2k Sub2000 folding concealed rifle

Also it's much easier to just become a reserve LEO and then 06/07 signs won't apply to you. I wouldn't go as far as carrying a concealed rifle in a briefcase unless I was Jason Bourne. It's comical really. No. It's tragic. It's both a tragedy and a travesty that "it's much easier to just becom...

Again, what statute would you be charged under if you carried into the secured portion of refinery/chemical plant property IN YOUR CAR?

No...no...old people, babies, and disabled people are welcome, as long as they are not crawling, (openly) carrying a walker, or riding in a stroller... :biggrinjester:

No Trespassing at CLT

OK folks...heads up if you are heading to Charlotte. If NC criminal trespass is interpreted the same way that Texas 30.05 is... In the Airport: - No babies - No old people (with walkers) - No people riding in strollers - No dogs Are allowed to enter or remain on the airport grounds...under penalty o...

Re: Army chooses Sig

Sig Sauer Inc is an American company, now separate from Sig Sauer GmbH, and has really pushed the product line in interesting and fresh directions. Yeah. Also, current Army pistol is by Beretta an Italian company, though I'm pretty sure all the govt contract guns are made in US. So once the Army, M...

Re: Please tell me your feelings!

I am dreading the next 4-8 years of the media's fawning retrospectives on Obama and daily negativity that we haven't seen since Reagan was president. There will be a massive revival in media interest in Homelessness, Malnourishment, and Greed... It will start at noon today and last until the next De...

Re: Peruta En Banc Opinion - Concealed Carry Lost

It's arguably not the original intention of the filibuster rule to apply to Cabinet and Court nominees, but since the '80's this is what has been done. So McConnell is free to follow Harry Reid's lead and do it for SCOTUS nominees. I think he'll wait and see whether Dems filibuster good Trump SCOTUS...

Re: Cities improperly posting 30.06 signs?

I need to clarify my post. I was talking specifically about employees of those chemical companies. The statute that I was thinking of is the same one that requires companies to allow employees to be able to leave their weapons locked in their personal vehicles in the parking lot (Labor Code 52.061)...

Re: Guns + Roommates using Marijuana

What about all the college kids drinking underage in their apartments, and buying beer for minors? Do you think just because Austin PD hasn't gone on a major crackdown on this that it's not going to bite people like OP. It's a crime! Do you want to take the chance of having a LTC while living with d...

Re: Supressor should be allowed for LTC/ CHL holder?

If you can legally own a gun why can't you just go out and buy a silencer? If you can legally own a semi-auto carbine why can't you own a fully auto carbine? These are both "legal" items with a complicated and expensive taxation to own. I am not talking about grenades or items that are te...

Re: Guns + Roommates using Marijuana

There are a lot of misdemeanors going on all day every day around all of us. Everyone is up in arms because of the MJ. What about underage drinking, likely going on in every college apartment regularly? Maybe it's a class C vs. a class B, but I'm sure we can all find tons of stuff going on around us...
