Yeah...things have changed since 1966 (when I was born!). My birth certificate has a line "Color if other than White..."
. My DD-214 circa 1991 has several copies without the discharge characterization, I assume as a "courtesy" to those whose service may not have been so HONORABLE. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting my 50% veteran discount when I renew in 2011.
