Re: Dillon 650 / Swage It

Tom, I know the mouths of cases work hardens with reloading cycles. Is it possible the head of the brass can work-harden as well? This might be why some cases swage harder than others.

Re: Dillon 650 / Swage It

At one time, wouldn't use of a swage tool nullify their warranty?

Re: Lead hardness tester

Andy, I finally broke down after 30 years of casting and purchased a SAECO hardness tester. Back in the 80's when it was $100. I do not use it often, because I usuall melt down my lead scraps in 500 # batches. When I do a batch (which lasts a couple of years, depending), it is really nice to know th...

You mean the ones that don't have timing issues or end shake requiring modifying the frame to fix? :)
It is interesting that you just watched 6 minutes of how delicate smiths are, and say that.

Re: Flint, MI: security guard shot and killed over face mask request

Has anyone brought up the anti-mask laws existing in most of the southern states?

Do I wear a mask to comply with a recent city ordinance, and defy state law?

Re: Online Sales Taxes is being collected

The customer is and has always been responsible for paying state sales tax on certain products. The merchant is responsible for collecting those taxes from the customer and forwarding them to the state. It has always been the customers responsibility to pay the taxes if the merchant is not collecti...

Re: Watch Where You Walk

Off topic, but on one of the shows about Texas game wardens (it is a series), someone killed a rattlesnake beside their house and put the picture on line. Turned out, it was an endangered timber rattlesnake, and I think the fine was $1000.

Just sayin'

Saying drugs are bad is like saying guns are bad.

I think it was Taylor Caldwell who said "But justice comes only from God; and if you seek it in the laws of men, you will never find it".

Re: Jack Hinson's One Man War

I bought this based on the mention here. I need to say that it is among the most boring and poorly written books I have ever read. And, i am a southerner through and through, but the author was so southern biased as to make me embarrassed.
