Re: Can a Canadian carry a concealed firearm in Texas?

I am not opposed to law abiding Canadians carrying in America, in fact, I support it but I have and have had for some time serious concerns about the legality of it when using the ATF Form 6NIA. American law does allow Canadian citizens to temporarily import firearms into America but it is a limited...

Re: Revolver Concealed carry holster

Galco's excellent Speed Master is my preferred carry for a revolver because it does everything a good concealment holster should do very well and for a reasonable price.

Re: Pocket holster for the Sp101?

Galco's excellent horsehide Front Pocket works well for the SP101 or you could use the inexpensive Pocket Protector but I prefer the Front Pocket.

Re: How Often Do You Carry?

If I'm awake I'm carrying unless I'm at home; where there is always a gun in reach. I carry openly at work and concealed wherever I go. I don't go to bars, haven't seen a 30.06 around here and can't recall when I've ever gone anywhere that CHL is restricted. As I said previously, if I'm awake and no...

Re: Decent Nylon Shoulder Holster

You can find these at any gun show for $29.95. There is no need to search out any particular model as 1 size fits all guns.

Just so you know, we don't sell them.

I mean no disrespect but I strongly suggest that you fully consider your own behavior before carrying a concealed weapon. It could take you down a path best avoided.

Re: Holster for Ruger P95 and Bersa .380

You were right, I did not like the fit of the #9. The trigger guard interferes with the holster preventing the gun from going all the way in. At what position do you find the most comfortable to carry? Model 100's coming from the factory flatten out as there is nothing to keep them shaped. Normally...

Re: Received my BrigadegunLeather IWB holster today. (PICS)

At the moment I am trying to stretch the holster just a bit as it is really tight. I am looking forward to wearing this baby and getting in broken in. Don't. Good holsters always start off tight and that's good. A loose fitting new holster isn't going to magically tighten up next Thursday morning b...

Re: .22 holster?

The grip frames are not the same.
That is true. However, the grip frame doesn't have anything to do with the holster as it remains outside.

A 1911 holster doesn't care whether you carry a single stack gun or double.

Re: .22 holster?

Bianchi makes a Model 7000 "AccuMold" synthetic holster and Galco makes the outstanding DAO Dual Action Outdoorsman holster for the Ruger Mk pistols but they accept pistols only up to 5 1/2 inches. The DAO is very adaptable and has a cross-draw optional carry. The pic below shows a DAO for...

Re: Holster for sitting down 8 hours a day in office?

Holsters are not comfortable. Of course, holsters are not uncomfortable either. In the majority of cases, comfort is not related directly to the holster but there can be some exceptions for really poor design and choice of materials. If you wear a holster made out of old nylon socks, that attaches t...

Re: Why exactly are gun shows posted 30.06?

Both gun shows that I attend regularly in D/FW (High Caliber in Ft Worth and Market Hall in Dallas) are posted 30.06. Can anyone give a me a good reason why? I think so. It's because there are a lot of CHL holders out there that think its OK to pull a loaded gun, often pointing it at me, and put it...

Re: Found this little bit of info on the TABC website

PC 46.035 states clearly that it is an offense if I "intentionally, knowingly or recklessly carries a handgun" on the premises of a business that has a permit or license issued under Chapter 25, 28, 32, 69 or 74 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code but I am not clairvoyant and I doubt they would...
