Anti Red Flag Bill Pre-filed in Oklahoma

Does Texas already have a similar law on the books? If not, would a bill like this be a possibility during the 2021 legislative session? Here is a link to a short You Tube video that explains the bill and contains a link to the actual bill. Thanks, Treetop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVR76oSWwRw

Re: Cleaning cases with pins

It's not particularly important on pistol brass but if you deprime your rifle brass first (I use a Lee hand decapper) you will be rewarded with perfectly clean and beautiful primer pockets which will lead to more consistent ignition. I do this every time I reload rifle brass and about every 2nd or t...

Re: Katie Couric's doc violated interstate firearms transfer laws?

I decided to be pro-active, FWIW. I went to the BATFE "submit a tip" page: https://www.atf.gov/contact/atf-tips And wrote this: Katie Couric's TV producer, Stephanie Soechtig sent a resident of Colorado, across state lines to Arizona to purchase several firearms without going through an F...

Re: Katie Couric's doc violated interstate firearms transfer laws?

A liberal "friend" of mine is already using this as evidence of how easy it is to obtain guns illegally and why we should have even stricter gun control. The producer, the buyer and the seller should all face federal charges, and maybe even Couric since she also had a hand in this. To jus...

What part of the country is that??? West or South?
I put west because the person committed the felony by crossing the state line from Arizona to his home state of Colorado with the firearms... Southwest would be more appropriate but that wasn't an option.

Semper Fi, my brothers! Next week signifies the 48th anniversary of my enlistment in 1968. Then President Nixon, was giving early-outs in 1971 to any Marines that had over 6 months of WESTPAC duty. I qualified and high tailed it back to Texas as fast as I could, LOL. However, I will never forget my ...

Re: 2015 Session - What Was Sent to the Governor?

Thanks gljjt , for this new legislation summary in regular layman's language! I have a question pertaining to SB 273: I can only think of two "otherwise prohibited places": 1) State or local government buildings that house a jail, and 2) State or local government buildings that house court...

No set plan. I just don't reload before going to the range. I fire my every day carry self defense ammo first, two magazines. Then I reload with target ammo. Before leaving the range, I reload two magazines of EDC-SD.[/quote]

That's very good idea, Captain! Thanks for sharing it. Tt.
