Re: School teacher with LTC

Non-lawyer here with typical lawyer answer: "It depends". ;-) In my view, the most common use of "right of way" involves land adjacent to a public road, where an adjacent landowner would have little or no say. If an "easement", then maybe. A link for your review. https:...

Re: 10/22 Optics Recommendations

+1 on the tech sights. I have had good luck with a "Sweet 22" scope from Academy. Some good features for a $60 scope. It has been rode very hard and put up wet thru dozens of hunter ed classes and it still functions fine. With any of em tho, be prepared to possibly buy a semi-pricey "...

Re: AR15 Coyote accessories suggestions

FWIW, I have been quite pleased with products like the one in the link below. After it being on my want list for a couple of years, I paid around $150 for the first one at a gun show. Then found virtually the same product online later for less than half that $. Green flashlight capability all the wa...

My daughter and her husband live in Vegas, northwest of the strip. They had a hole in the sheetrock of vaulted ceiling and found a bullet on the floor of living room this morning.

It looks like Ruger really did some research homework on this one. Very, very smart move to include the Glock mags.

Re: Special Church Security Program in Plano - Dec. 5

One of our members who is an Elder in a small church in Flower Mound came out yesterday to discuss his concerns. At my suggestion, he did some research then posted this on Facebook this morning. I had planned to be on the road that Tuesday, but rearranged so I can also attend. I suspect it will incl...

“I may get in trouble with other members of the committee just say how insane it is that in the United States of America a civilian can go out and buy a semi-automatic like an AR-15, which apparently was the weapon that was used,” Winslow said. And this is Trump's nominee? GRRRRRRRRR! http://www.fox...

Quote: "I would have to think that 4 or 5 rounds, center of mass on the grill, would have to enough effect to at least seriously slow the vehicle." Maybe many miles or many minutes later. Engines can go a long way with low or no fluids. Shots on driver would have a much better chance of qu...

Re: Pros & cons comparing rifles w/ shotguns using slugs?

I would especially question the use of #1 Buckshot, or even 00. Just not enough weight there to get sufficient penetration on a big, thick bear.
