Re: Special Church Security Program in Plano - Dec. 5

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 26 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

“I may get in trouble with other members of the committee just say how insane it is that in the United States of America a civilian can go out and buy a semi-automatic like an AR-15, which apparently was the weapon that was used,” Winslow said. And this is Trump's nominee? GRRRRRRRRR! http://www.fox...

Re: Pros & cons comparing rifles w/ shotguns using slugs?

I would especially question the use of #1 Buckshot, or even 00. Just not enough weight there to get sufficient penetration on a big, thick bear.

Re: Year End Instructor Recertification?

Class is 4 hours total.

As long as initial NRA Pistol Cert is still active, you should still be good.

Yes, another instructor needs to qualify you with both semi and revolver.

No big rush on any of it for now - except getting scheduled into one of those 1/2 day classes.

Re: Concealable 9mm with an easy to rack slide

Quote: Or even a 9mm snubbie? Ruger LCR 9mm. Had one for a while but sold it at a loss. And told the buyer why. Due to light weight, great trigger and good 9mm velocity, I thought it was the perfect 5-holer. But bullet in the 5'th cartridge in chamber waaaaaaay too often jumped the crimp, sometimes ...
