Re: Please tell me your feelings!

Trump is unpredictable and have 0 foreign policy experience. I hope he can use his trade negotiating skills for the sole favor of USA, not Russia, not his personal interest, but interest of US people first and foremost. I am skeptical. For me, the largest point for hope is that if he screws this gi...

Re: Suppressor build success

The suppressor is all together, and I was going to try it out last weekend but the rain kept me from doing that. I planned to shoot on some family property NE of New Braunfels, but it was way too muddy. Soon, I hope … I built this up specifically for my 300 BLK rifle, but figured I can also use it ...

God I am SO glad those crooks are out of office! My guess is that Ashe knew that his new reg would be hung out to dry.......especially since it was enacted without any of the usual preceding period to take comments from the public - a highly irregular thing.

Police Calm Millennial Protesters By Handing Out Participation Trophies

http://babylonbee.com/news/police-calm-millennial-protesters-handing-participation-trophies/ U.S.—As anti-Trump rallies nationwide turned hostile with widespread reports of violence, looting, vandalism, and death threats against the president-elect and his supporters, police in numerous major citie...

Re: Casualty of War (Election)

Religion and politics are poor conversation topics. There's a lot more to the world to talk about. And when some pink starts ranting, I hold my tongue and look for a chance to change the subject. I agree, but some folks don't even get to that level, they just shut you out like mine did. No discussi...

Re: HB 1050 - Ad Valorem Tax Reform

I think the problem is that this state, for all of its being more conservative and financially sound than a lot of other states, is still trying to provide too much service to its people, instead of them providing things for themselves. I do get it that there is going to be some kind of cost/benefi...

Re: Casualty of War (Election)

I've been fortunate enough not to lose any family members, although most of them would disagree with me on most issues. I am certain I've probably been "un-followed" on Facebook by a few people, as I have expressed strongly held views on many occasions, challenging democrats among my frien...

Re: Army chooses Sig

The timing of all this is quite interesting. A few days back at General Mattis's hearing on Capitol Hill they made a big deal about how slow the Army was at deciding this and how much money they had spent then....whatta ya know! :) An interesting observation! I wonder how much the Army was worried ...

Re: HB 1050 - Ad Valorem Tax Reform

A decent 5 color printing press with a UV coating station can easily cost $2,000,000. That's $165,000 in sales tax, plus another $165,000 in use tax at the end of the year. If the depreciation schedule allows, say a $250,000 depreciation after a year, then the business "gets" to pay anoth...

Re: Army chooses Sig

So much for the G19, I guess. I'm a little surprised. Not too surprising when you consider that big army caters to the lowest common denominator. Unless Glock was willing to mass produce a variation with a manual safety, they were ruled out from the start. P320 has a manual safety? Not as originall...
