Re: Another Meme Thread

I don't know how to turn this into a meme, but it occurs to me that:
NRA members have stopped more active shooters than the entire Broward County Sherriff's department.

Greybeard, What would your reply have been if big guy had walked over and said: "Excuse me sir, my mother and I have been waiting in line for some time and she is a bit unstable on her feet. I see that you are nearly finished. Would it be OK if she sat here on tho other side of the table while ...

Enterprise Car Rental Drops the NRA

Apparently, you can change a company's business practices with one tweet. http://freebeacon.com/issues/rental-car-company-abruptly-ends-nra-discount-following-fla-high-school-shooting/ I'm not on twitter, wouldn't have any followers if I were. But I do have email. Here is what I sent to Enterprise: ...

Twomillenium, I'll add athletes to the actors, and that includes the spoiled babies at the Olympics. Ski, Skate, Dance or Curl - I don't care who you voted for. And if I have to put up with your political bull, I will turn the TV off. BTW, how are the ratings for the Olympics this year? Uh huh - tho...

Re: I want to keep my guns.

Oh, well. If the CBS news / NY times poll says that gun ownership is dropping. . . It must be true. <Sarcasm off> Remember that these same people had Hillary winning the last election. Thought experiment: You are stopped on the street by a CBS Reporter. He asks if you have any guns in the home. Do y...

Re: I want to keep my guns.

Flechero, I agree with most of what you said with the exception of paying more money for additional school protection. I already pay far to much in taxes for a really bad education system. How about this instead: We take a few of the non-core positions that have proliferated in our schools and trade...

Re: AMMOLAND: "SCC, SCCF File Amicus Brief in U-Texas Professors’ Campus Carry Suit"

Soccerdad, you miss the point of the lie. The point is to prevent something from happening. If the lie is successful, you don't have to defend it because Campus Carry never happened. Example: Harry Reid saying the Mitt Romney cheated on his taxes. It was demonstrably false, but helped keep Romney ou...

Re: For anti-2A zealots, there's never enough reasons to take your weapons

I have a real problem with laws that can take away a person's rights based on an accusation and nothing more. Nearly one in three women experience some sort of domestic abuse, according to a the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. I call bull on that. The same study said homicide is five t...

BTW, if you are just looking for an AR type 223 that you can fire from the folded stock, why not look at a Ruger Mini 14?
They are sturdy, you can get a folding stock, they will fire from the folded position.

Re: Kel-Tec SU-16C - Advise Appreciated!

I had one - it was not accurate and I could not find ammo that it liked. The front site fell off and I lost it. I tried to order a new one fro Kel-Tec for over a year. In desperation, I contacted them and asked "When will this part be in?" Their parts person replied "I do not know.&qu...
