Hmmmm.
$19.95 per gun.
Enough skateboard Grip tape to do a half dozen guns - $7.95.

Just bought some .22LR at the new Field & Stream store in Austin.
I was asked if I was a US citizen or legal alien - that's all.

Re: Rust removal help

Try wrapping a bit of steel wool around a thin splint of wood.
Lubricate with oil and rub out the rust.

0000 steel wool with your favorite oil.
Takes the rust, leaves the blue.
I've used this on everything from modern "Blackening" to classic slow rust blued finishes.

That's odd, not sure what the reason would be unless, there is a minimum number of rounds that need to be fired before performing a reload.

How about a Para Ordnance P13? Is that enough rounds?
Other than the magazine capacity, its basically a 1911.

Re: United Blood Services 30.06 sign need your opinion

I think their answer is bull and if you have another place to donate, you should take your blood their.
Mrs. Chemist and I donate in and around Austin, at the Blood Center of Central Texas and we've never seen a 30.06 sign.

Seriously - if there is another place, go there. And tell UBS exactly why.

Re: Natchez Shooters Supplies/Caldwell 6"-9" Bipod

I've dealt with Natchez many times and have had no issues at all. Caldwell is a good name and the bipod sounds ok from the description. I used the estimate shipping feature and it says $12.32 via FedEx or US Mail. So if you buy nothing else, the bipod wil run you around $29. From the looks of things...

Mrs. Chemist and I each had one at the hottest Appleseed shoot ever a couple years back.
Ours were the only ones that didn't try to roll themselves up in the heat and were comfortable to use.
