Re: 80 blocks of C4 and Claymores found buried in Arizona desert.

Well, if they left the military nomenclature on it then it won’t be hard to track down. Well, at least to the point showing who it was issued to. It will only be a matter of time from there to find out who’s going to prison. When you were in the military, you were one of the crazy guys that played ...

Re: The prodigal returns home

My Deltapoint Pro was just delivered. NowI can take it and my new Springfield Champion Operator (lightweight) to Ed Vanden Berg to have it milled into the slide. I'll post photos when it's finished.

Re: Mother of dead Popeyes robber: ‘Why did he shoot him five times'

It's infuriating that the "news" media feels it's okay to impose on someone at the worst time in their lives. I realize that "blood sells" to the "news" media, but I find such profiteering disgusting.

Well, I won't be there after all. My contractor will have guys at my home earlier than originally planned.

Speer Gold Dot 230gr JHP or Remington Golder Saber 230gr JHP. The Golden Saber is one of the oldest "advanced bullets" and they still outperform many/most other premium ammo.

Re: H.R.38: National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act

The million dollar question is..... When will we see some progress in the Senate? Unfortunately, it appears unlikely that this bill will have enough votes to get past the expected filibuster. And there's been comments attributed to some R's (Cornyn) about addressing the bills separately in the Sena...

H.R.38: National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act

I have attached a copy of the as-passed version of H.R.38, Concealed Carry Reciprocity of 2017 (aka "National Reciprocity Act"). As everyone knows, the NICS Improvement Act was attached to H.R.38. People who are concerned about the false information being spread by so-called "pro gun&...

Re: Thumb break or not on OWB leather holster?

I don't know if Randy Warren makes a thumb-break holster for a 1911, but I bet he does. He makes them for a SIG P938 and for an S&W Shield. His beautiful designs for the 1911 use a reinforcement piece that he extends into a thumb-break on the SIG and the Shield. I presume he could do that on any...

The prodigal returns home

I have come full circle. I've have returned to my roots. There's no place like home. Okay, enough with the clichés. I'm returning to a 1911 in 45ACP as my EDC. I've been carrying a CZ Compact PCR for over a year now and I love the gun. It has never malfunctioned and that's quite a statement. With a ...

Re: OC Has Gun Taken Away

This thread came very close to being locked a few times, but folks seem to have toned down the rhetoric. When Carl posted the account of a handgun being snatched from a holster, it was good information for people who carry openly. I guess it was predictable that the more ardent open-carry supporters...

Belated happy birthday to TexasCHLforum!

All of the rebuilding work for the 1st floor that has been going on made me forget about the TexasCHLforum birthday on Dec. 22nd. The Forum is now a teenager (12/22/2004).

Thanks folks for making an idea become a reality.
