I just received my CHL and I carry everywhere I go due to the car I drive and my profession. I have been held up in the past and never want to be in a position where I am helpless again.

Welcome both to Texas and to the Forum. It's great to have a diamond broker in the Forum Family.

Not single (he lurks on this board every day, but doesn't have an account yet.)
We both did our classes on August 28, he's mailed off his info, and I'm about to get all the requirements for mine.
Between the two of us we have a nice little collection of guns, but I haven't decided what to carry yet. I want to try out his new Ruger LCR. :)
Welcome Little-Longstar, we're happy you've joined us.

 It's amazing how many guns guys have lost to the ladies in our lives! I guess it's fair since we buy a lot of guns for the wives and girlfriends, then volunteer to shoot them if they don't like what we bought.

Again, welcome to TexasCHLforum.

Re: Introduce yourself

You may want to try CDNN Investments and download their catalog. They often have police trade-ins at good prices.

Happy shooting!
Welcome! Was your J-frame IDPA match at the Arms Room last Monday?

Chas.
Yes Sir!
I thought so. There are about as many people shooting IDPA matches with 2 " .38's as there are Unicorns in West Texas! It was good to meet you last night and as I told you, I heard very good things about your shooting the snubbie.

Welcome Jcarouth, we glad you joined us.

You'll love the XD and I hope your wait will be shorter than many have been. If your schedule permits, consider coming to the TSRA Annual Meeting and meet some of the TexasCHLforum crew.
