Keep an eye on gun.deals. That’s where I’ve seen them. Also, GT distributors in Austin

... the rail being integral to the plastic receiver so it’s not rigid the way a metallic rail on metallic receiver would be. But as I recall, the iron sights worked OK. But I’ll have to chat him up and see what he says. I might not be remembering correctly.... I don't know if I'll ever get used to ...

Re: What's Your Preferred Grain in 9mm for range and s.d.?

Mostly 115 gr. for range and SD ammo in my pistols. 147 gr. in my AR-9 for both, because it stays subsonic in the 4.5" barrel.

Re: Considering a Shield 9mm

I love my Shield. I carry it on weekends quite a bit. The Blackhawk ARC works great for it. I highly recommend some Talon Grips for it as well.

Re: Wife wants a new falling plate pistol

I'd recommend you check out the CZ 75. The grips are thin and easy to handle with smaller hands, but still a double stack for capacity. The slide is very easy to rack. The metal frame soaks up the already negligible 9mm recoil, and the accuracy is great. One of the biggest advantages to the CZ platf...

Re: FS: RD Warren LH Glock OWB holster and mag carriers

I love his holsters too. I really don't want to sell this set but, unfortunately, I was in an accident last week and, with a potential PCS move looming along with the holidays, money is a little tight and I would prefer not to spend savings on my deductible. So, this holster set and a couple of othe...

FS: RD Warren LH Glock OWB holster and mag carriers

Re: GAAA... I'm so confused......

Have you considered a pistol caliber carbine? They are a lot of fun to shoot, and the prices on AR-9's have really come down. I have an AR-9 SBR and a Kel-Tec Sub2K that I love.

Other than that, I'd consider a CZ P01. I love mine.

I’ve got north of 2k rounds through mine, and I’m sure at least some of it was aluminum cased, and I’ve never had an issue.

Re: 1911 operator holster

http://www.giholsters.com does awesome leather lined kydex holsters. For pure kydex, I recommend Trinity Carry Concepts. I have 3 holsters from Trinity, and they are great. The speed clips are awesome. If you decide to go all leather, Randy Warren makes a beautiful leather holster for a very reasona...
