Re: School shootings

A Sheriff in Florida had much the same thoughts. He stated that when he was in High School he and others often brought their long rifles to school and there wasn't any school shootings. He then asked, "What is different from then to today?" I also remember bringing my rifle to school on m...

Re: Deputy Scot Peterson

I still wonder why school doors are not locked between starting and stopping time with a single point of controlled entrance during the day? I'm pretty sure all exit doors have panic hardware in the event of fire, etc.

Re: Another armed teacher poll

That sounds a bit fishy to me. A drop of 25%+ in about 2 hours. Just saying, you have to wonder. MSNBC has falsified the "poll." Numbers don't change that fast, especially on a Saturday. Chas. Why am I not surprised? It was 72% for when I voted. This is just another reason why MSNB...

Re: Another armed teacher poll

4 armed officers waited outside the school while 17 kids got shot so ... Option 2: teachers ,,,, A teacher protecting a kid is better than an officer outside taking a break https://twitter.com/w_terrence/status/967235137443385346 https://twitter.com/bbusa617/status/967200218189049856 You know what ...

Re: Should I conceal carry a .22 pistol?

Yes, a .22 is better than nothing but I wouldn't just carry that and be satisfied. I believe you need to do one of two things (or both): 1. Do more shooting of centerfire calibers. Repetition (with good instruction) is the surest way to overcome that flinch. 2. Rent or borrow a Sig Sauer P238 (.380...

Re: Are AR15s going up in price?

If I thought I wanted one, I wouldn't dally. This recent senseless massacre just may be all it takes to bring about a sea change in laws and availability. We may be about to see who is more interested in getting votes than in the 2A. Just sayin'.... :rules:

I hope somebody herein sees/knows and posts what MSNBC does with this poll. That's the only way I'll find out.

Re: Bump stop ban signed today

I wondered what a bump stock is and how it works so:

After watching this, I don't see myself needing or wanting one. If this video is real, these things should fall under the same restrictions as do full automatics, IMO.
