Lots of guns are like that... it was designed to eject spent brass. Most of the time when this issue comes up, it's people cycling the slide real slow and trying to eject the live round into their hand. Lean the gun to the right and rack the slide like you are loading it. Not often they will hiccup...

I really like it but its a bit harder to find a holster for. Esp if you buy the laser.

I was thinking of getting a bellyband for my regular carry, but still tough choice.
