Re: "Release the Kraken" ???
Donald J. Trump, whose manifold personal failings ultimately undid him. True, much to my chagrin. I think Trump is a classic case of "his heart was in the right place, but..." Specifically, Trump is not articulate. He doesn't read daily intelligence updates (he watches TV instead), he doe...

Re: Open carry to protest the election
Lets don't give them a fresh look at a giant 2A target right now- they are fired up and already looking at "day one" targets. It's already too late for that. They've been planning a host of focused 2A attacks since Day 1 of Trump's term in office. At least 4 years of planning - that game ...

Re: Please do not take my name in vain.
A friend sent me to Cheaper Than Dirt web site to look at pistol ammo prices and I about passed out. At first I thought it was a joke but I went their and assume they prices are what they want. My question is could they be charged with price gouging? Be sitting down if you go look. ET-ret Hey, no c...

Re: Protest / Riot Intel Source?
These riots tend to be on the move constantly. Forcing police and citizens to react in the moment. If there is any information, it would seem to be outdated in less than 5 minutes. That said, I'd look at any source just to see where these mobile riots tend to spring up. Getting stuck in a sudden rio...

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
I'm going to have to second the CZ line.
Carrying at CZ 97BD (.45 ACP) in a Crossbreed SuperTuck.
This CZ is large, but the SuperTuck makes the carry very comfortable.

Don't you have to die to be a Darwin Award winner?Flightmare wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 7:01 pm Darwin award winner! Should (thankfully) keep him from reproducing.
Or just remove yourself from the gene pool?
I forget which.

Re: I Have Officially Joined The CZ Club
I too joined the CZ club this week.
I picked up a 97 BD.
.45 cal
Large hands are a requirement.
Loaded this gun weighs about 2.3 lbs.
New steel guide rod from CajunGunWorks on order.
2 holsters also ordered.
It'll be hard to wait to carry this gun.
But I can.

Re: CZ fans tell me what you think
I hope to be fan very soon. I have a CZ 97B on order; take maybe a week to get it. Based on the comments, larger hands are a + due to the double stack; not a problem for me. The extra weight of the firearm (at ~2 lbs) will also be fine for me. .45 ACP deserves a solid launch platform. Overall, I hea...

Re: Torchy's removes Republican and Independent tacos from Menu
I sent them a contact email request for feedback. Will let you know if they respond and what they say. Received a reply. Discontinuation was due to supply chain issues related to Covid. Sounds reasonable. Email says the Republican has already been restored to the menu as supplies are now available....

Re: Grandkids .22 rifle recommendation
Marlin Model 60 was my first rifle. Dad used it to show me firearm safety.
Worked well and I still have it. Still a nice shooter; lots of memories.
