Re: LCP on the range

I have an LCP, and to all who say that the grip is too small. I agree, and I have small hands. I even had a grip reduction on my G19 for this reason. I don't have any problems with my 1911's. However, this little guy is so easy to carry, I forget I have it. It has caused a few "oh no's" r...

Re: LCP on the range

Little bugger is no fun to shoot, let me tell you. Grip is too small (in diameter) for me to get a good grip on it, the trigger guard pounds your trigger finger on recoil, and it is real snappy. I thought the EXACT same thing. I'd get a grip, fire a round and it would slip out of my hand. I can hol...

Re: Media Invasion of Your Private Property

First, do not shoot them for trespassing. (half-joking on this statement) ;-] Instead, call the Police and have them clear your property for you. They should have enough respect to stay off your lawn and out of your backyard, but we've seen plenty of examples where this isn't the case. What they rea...

Re: No Safe Places

The lessons to be learned: *Be adequately armed at all times. *Be proficient with the weapon you carry. *Always be on-guard especially in the evening hours. *If you have butterflies in your stomach when approached by someone or by multiple people, you're probably right. Even you homes aren't safe lo...

Re: Hurricane Dolly Looter Shot

Armed felon will beat the grand jury for the shooting itself.
He WILL get convicted for possessing a gun as a felon.
His wife will get a reduced sentence for arming a felon and obstructing justice.

IMO.

Re: We Americans Have It So Good

Taken care of from their point of view, not ours. They feel they can take care of all our problems and that we don't need protection because the police will take care of it. They can't be more wrong.

Re: mixing differant ammo in same mag

When I carry a shotgun, I carry slugs seperate from the rest of my spare ammo for the same reason. I might just find I really need a slug so I'm setup to swap that type of ammunition in as needed. Otherwise, it's 00-Buck all the time. And the good thing with shotguns is you can slip in slugs withou...

Re: mixing differant ammo in same mag

I would imagine that each brand has its own unique ballistics. Given this fact, each of the two he is using will perform in slightly different manner from the other. One could potentially work better than the other in a specific scenario. Certain clothing can actually prevent some penetration or exp...

Re: Gun Safe for Car

Wish they had those consolevaults for a 1999 Expedition. They only start at 2000 after the console change. I'll have to wait for my next vehicle to get one of these. I've talked to a welder about making me a safe we can bolt down to the frame under the passenger seat, but loss of my job means I can'...

Re: how many of you carry pepper spray

I don't at the moment, but I really do believe that I need to carry a non-lethal option of some kind. I've been looking into OC, but haven't had any good recommendations.
