Re: Fort Worth Gun

They had name brand recognition (unfortunately) when they were CTD. But once they moved, they didn't have enough capital to keep it going, I went in a couple of times, but everything seemed super empty, low quantities of anything. And while I don't mind paying a pricing premium on a physical store, ...

Fort Worth Mayfest

Was looking at going and saw this on their website:
No open carry of handguns. No concealed carry of handguns.
located here: http://mayfest.org/festival-guide

It's on a public park so it's definitely legal to carry there, anyone ever been and are there metal detectors?

Re: New Gun Store- Dangerous Display

You'd rather have guns set up where you can't dry fire them?

Re: Fort Worth Omni Theater

With respect to the museum. They do have a preschool on site and part of the building. It's much more formal than the FW Zoo.

But imo that would still be just a portion of the building.

How about you don't be jerks about it. If you're going to open carry, just open carry normally. Why try to provoke? It's just rude.

Re: Fan with gun shown on TV chasing foul ball at Astros gam

I've said it before, I'll say it again. The worst concealed carriers are cops. I'm not sure if it's because they don't care or if they're just not good at it, but at least half the people I've spotted at work have turned out to be PD. The Feds that were in Garland during the whole shootout mess wer...

Re: Citizenship shown on Texas CHL?

Here's something I can chime in on. I work the voting at my local precinct I'm the assistant judge (associate judge? I forget) But basically a CHL would be perfectly fine for voting, as will basically any ID. You hand me an ID and we look it up on our roll sheet, if you're there then you just sign t...

That's not a template, and not for the topic, that's a card to leave at someone's place of business stating a complaint, not a card showing the laws

Re: Just gave a kid a stern warning..

you do realize that they, and every other university has that choice now. Any university, public or private can choose to allow CHLs under current law, yet none have. You think it will be different in the future? I think the stigma attached with it at universities now will be lessened, and the scho...

I want campus carry to pass so bad. :cryin :iagree: And don't let private universities get themselves exempted ... Private university's will be able to choose whether or not to allow them, and I go to a private university, I agree that if private they should be able to choose. I hope mine chooses c...

...for not carrying his G23 while he had a valid CHL. He ran a stop sign. He said his G23 is too big and bulky. I said so is a coffin, go get a G27 and ankle carry if you're gonna whine about it (this was in jest - we were both laughing). We chuckled and he asked me if he could carry and leave it i...

Re: Looking for a revolver to qualify with

Another agreement for the GP100, I love my dad's GP100, it's a blast to shoot, solid as a brick, actually, more solid, I could break any brick with it and only have scratches on it, good size and weight, can't wait until it's mine! (Of course he can't wait til he can get some of my guns too  )
