Open Carry argument

I found this on Free Republic this morning. I thought it was well thought out. [url][http://www.usacarry.com/forums/open-carry-discussion/7230-open-carry-argument.html/url] Open carry is not a option in most places for the average citizen. I live in a State where it is (South Dakota). In almost two ...

Re: Las Vegas: 13YO girl cited for jaywalking - in a coma

A bunch of years ago, 1987 to be exact, I was driving east on State St. in Albany, NY and obeying all of the traffic laws, when a person stepped out into the street, from between parked vehicles which blocked my view of him, directly in front of my one ton telephone van. This happens all the time i...

Re: ACLU Sues SD over Concealed Carry

I was surprised to see this story. I moved to South Dakota 18 months ago. It is VERY easy to get your plastic here. It took me 17 minutes and 10 dollars at the Sheriff’s office to get mine. A few days later the actual plastic came in the mail. I know they run a background check on you but I thought ...

I wear Bib Overalls a LOT. They are very loose and easy to wear. I wonder if this holster would work with Bibs?

Re: Cold Country

Well now, Don't think I havn't though of that. I have to travel to Sioux Falls (largest city in SD, 50 mils south) quite a bit; every time I do, I think, I am 50 miles closer to Texas, do I keep going--LOL The fact is the town where I live is a wonderful town. It is like being in the twilight zone h...

Re: Cold Country

I think you'll find the operational characteristics of the M-16 indicate that a bullet will decelerate as much as 40 feet per second per second faster in these climate conditions. It's denser air, you know. Let me tell you something. I would give up those 40 feet per second speeds in a heartbeat to...
