how so? the only thing i can think of that would be a pain is the slide stop pin. if so, take the rim of the 380 case, hook it under that pin, and tilt the case to the right.... it pops right out. once I figured that trick out my life became much easier! plus you don't have to worry about marring the finish with a screwdriver. hope my description on how to do the trick isnt too terrible lol

LCP came home today. Got the stamp on the slide (and the scraped it up a little bit....if it wasn't a carry I might be more upset) Only other noticeable change is the slide hold open latch which is much improved. Does anyone know of these "other" improvements they mention on the recall sheet that came back with it?

:eek6 wow...not cool. Mine is in the affected batch and I have dropped my LCP right on the magazine from about 3 feet with a round in the chamber! I remember thinking "Thank God for that drop safety!" Ugh...this makes number 2 for Ruger with the same thing happening with the SR9s. :banghead:
