Re: You favorite rife ? Shotgun ?

Alas, I don't play favorites, lest one become jealous and ND or FTF...

I have several of my dad's rifles, I have one from my grand dad that was manufactured in June 1942.

If I had to grab and go, I'd say my Henry and Ruger GP100 in .357.

Re: .44 AutoMag being reborn - JD Jones

Wasn't AMT the manufacturer of the original? .. :confused5 :confused5 :confused5 I shot the Auotmag at a gun range in Fort Worth back in 81-82, but ended up with an AMT Hardballer in .45 (similar to a 1911 A1) Friend of mine had the AMT Long Slide ... loved shooting that thing, but the stainless sli...

Re: GLENFIELD/MARLIN 60

If posting the video makes just one person double check the chamber on any gun before they pull the trigger, it was worth it. For those of us that had that concept drilled into our heads , it wasn't needed. However, there are too many people shot or killed by an empty weapon....I knew one of them. ...

Re: GLENFIELD/MARLIN 60

*shrugs

Dad bought me a Model 60 Glenfield from K-Mart back in the 70's.. came with a 4x scope. 40 years later and no surprises from the rifle, I passed it to my son..

Common sense used to be common I guess.
