Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

Nine people dead along with video of some, but it is just too expensive to prosecute anyone.

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

First trial has ended in a mistrial.
http://www.wacotrib.com/news/courts_and ... 54b01.html
A mistrial was declared Friday in the trial of Jacob Carrizal, the first biker from the May 2015 Twin Peaks shootout to stand trial.

Jurors told 54th State District Judge Matt Johnson they were hopelessly deadlocked after more than 14 hours of deliberation, forcing the judge to declare a mistrial at about 2:50 p.m.

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

In my other life I have the wonderful experience of dealing with the Bandido's twice. It was not very pleasant. I have had a lot of contact in the 80's with the Cossacks in Smith and Wood County. I have never had a good experience with them whatsoever. I am sure there are some good folks who are members of the Bandido's and Cossacks just like there are good folks who join the Crips and the Bloods.

See if a MC try's to extort money for a Texas bottom rocker.

Seems like a fun assignment.
I would bet they already have UC's in place and that is where they are gaining their information.

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

As a Pastor I would not be at a "meeting" conducting prayer when I should be in my Church conducting a service at Noon on Sunday. I want even mention the type of dive this meeting was being held in.

I have been ask to conduct prayer before meetings, but never during what would be our normal church schedule.

This gives a person a lot to think about. This never crossed my mind. I guess there are two sides and then the truth. It will be interesting to see how this turns out if it ever does.

How many days does the impound company have after their letter to the owner ?

Most (many?) of those arrested will not be needing them again.

I am sure they will be seized under the RICO act.

Re: Shooting at Twin Peaks in Waco

These folks are not a club. They pledge their allegiance to a GANG. These thugs may have day time jobs (good for them), but it doesn't make them solid citizens.

You eventually become like those you hang around. It sounds as if we have folks here that are "hang arounds" or "prospects." I dealt with the Cossacks in Tyler in the 80's (as LEO). They were thugs back then. They have just regened into more thugs.

Also the main beef has been between Cossaks and Banditos has been going on for over a year.
The meeting was to squash the differences.
The cops never fired a shot
scimitars are a sister group to the cossaks
7 cossaks dead
2 banditos
The cossaks were ambushed in the parking lot

I am not affiliated with either club but I have known 1 of the dead for nearly 15 years through work. And 2 others for over 10 years. Met them before they joined the club.
About 90% of what the media is saying either speculation or hog wash.
The Waco PD Sgt has announced three times now gang members started shooting at the Police. He has also verified that Waco PD and DPS returned fire hitting the subjects and without that action there possibly could have been many more wounded or killed.
