Winchester 190 22LR

I've had this 22 for 20+ years. The condition is nothing special, its been shot many times. it seems to have a feed issue, it jams every so often. I haven't attempted to fix it and don't want to bother, so i couldn't say what the fix would be. seems more sensitive to dirty, cheap ammo. I stripped an...

Mosin Nagant ATI Stock

I have an ATI stock for a Mosin Nagant. This was my first 'bubba Gun Smith' project years ago. I fit the stock a bit and ended up using JB weld to bed the receiver to the stock. Its ugly, but it actually worked. I've since sold the 91/30 and have this laying around. free to first person who comes to...

Re: Powder for 38spl

I have shot well over 5K rounds of .38 158gr LRN and 3.5gr Bullseye. BE is a very economical powder. I've also run lots of Power Pistol, which works well too. Its been years since i've tried any other powders as I'm content with my loads with these two. both powders also work well in .45acp, .40, 9m...

Re: Hi-Point 9MM Carbine

I have one of these. i bought it used pre '08 run-up. it has an ATI stock on it that makes it look like a Beretta 9mm carbine. sooo much better looking. Total ball to shoot. a whole lot of fun. I never clean mine. never. i don't really take care of it. I bought it to be a beater plinker and it funct...

moving counties with a suppressor

Juts a quick question: I'm very interested in picking up a suppressor, I've been putting it off for a long time. Plan would be to go the Trust route. I currently live in Travis county but expect to move down to Hays county at the end of 2015; we are planning on building a house off of 967 and it wou...

Re: Road rage incident with CHL involved

Am I reading that right?
Deferred Adjudication for a manslaughter charge?
What does that really mean, in terms of this case? That just doesn't sound right

Defendant Status DEF ADJ

Re: Cast .224 Projectiles

Any reason why they wont work in an AR?
Is it the low chamber pressures for cycling or the lead nose for feeding?

Re: NRA Life Upgrade - Now Without Sponsor

I've always wanted the life membership but balked at the $1K fee. well, not today. I signed up! thanks for the info, it very much appreciated. I had two years left on my current 3yr membership, I'll consider it a donation. They didn't ask for my member number either. The customer service rep was try...

Re: Thinking of ordering a CMP rifle

i'd absolutely recommend a service grade, at a minimum. i've ordered 5 between field and service, and service grades are certainly worth the money. You can add a sticky note to your order and request various things such as serial number range, USGI stocks, etc. Often works quite well. Browse cmp for...

Re: buying powder and primers latley

yeah, ya gotta plan ahead...
back in '08 things went nuts, I was unprepaired. some orders were back ordered up to 9 months.
this time around a friend and i planned ahead and ordered 2-3 years of consumables earlier this spring. no worries.

I will send an email, we bought from you however I don't have my Serial number at hand. You can just ship both sets of parts to one of us as we work together. shipping will be cheaper than gas....

Re: Let's talk surplus bolt guns

The native cartridge for the K31 is 7.62x55mm. The .308 is 7.62x51mm. Did you mean simply that you can use .308 caliber bullets, or are there some K31 rifles which are chambered in .308? I don't know much about them, which is why I ask. ".308" as in .308 diameter for reloading, apparently...
