You guys are AWESOME! Thanks so much for the information, this was really good input. And trust me I won't be afraid. I started out with a 380 and I keep progressing to larger calibers. I've shot the .357 that we have and love it, so I figure that I'm ready to go to the next level.

So my question is what is the difference between a 45 cal and a .45 Long Colt? I know that I can handle the .45 cal but wonder w...

No, not yet. right now he is romancing the S&W MP, he has the 40 cal and the new 9MM compact. But I bet before the year is out he will be a 1911 fan as well. (I think he is a closet 1911 fan for now)

Woo-Hoo I'm back and packing with a 1911 micro compact

I have to agree... I'm now a 1911 fan big time. I just bought myself a Springfield 1911 micro compact and found that there is no greater pleasure than firing a gun that is simply stated, "FANTASTIC"!!! Was afraid that it would be too much gun for me, but alas, even though I'm a small lady ...

Carry gun

My carry gun for the most part is a S&W 642. I'm not allowed to carry at work so I keep my Baby Eagle 9mm in my car and use pepper spray to go from my office to the parking lot. You just can't be too carefull these days, expecially if your female. I also have a PPKS 380 that I use on occasion. W...

the S&W 642

This is awesome information, I'm getting ready today to go buy my second gun and was looking at the S&W 642. I was not sure that I would be able to handle it, but seeing so many women stating how much they love it, has convinced me that this is the right one for me. Thanks so much for your input...

Hello, I didn't see any female intro's but here goes. I have just started as a shooter and found out that I really love it. Trying to find a gun that would be good to qualify with for my CHL was a real challenge. However after doing some research I chose a PPKS 380. I love my gun! Easy to shoot and ...
