Luckygunner has done some good testing. Not scientifically exhuastive but a great place to start. https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/self-defense-ammo-ballistic-tests/#9mm Shootingthebull410 also did some good testing https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgNSGOEQko_M90AMdRCDMgd-w4Yozc27i

Then they should send you a gift card for the difference, including the rebate. By agreeing to their contract you did not seek other avenues. Now that they have backed out they have effectively denied you the opportunity to take advantage of the sale price and rebate.

Re: Rounds for AR?

Not everyone that is stockpiling ammo (or anything else) is expecting TEOTWAWKI scenarios and having to bug out in the dead of night. They instead are hedging against legislation or some other factor that makes the availability of firearms, ammo, or components unavailable, extremely expensive, or in...

Re: The Strange City Limits of Bulverde, Texas

Looks like they are staking claim to the territory before some other municipality snaps it up. I bet they are speculating that some developer is going to start putting up cookie-cutter housing developments and they want to have the ability to annex the addition. The developer can potentially acquire...

Re: CC on Private University Campus

I went to an event open to the public at a local private Christian school recently. I CCd as there were no signs on any buildings or doors or at all that I could see. However, the next day I notice this school has 4-5 signs posted outside, alongside some (not all, as I didn't pass any the night bef...

I am with you Brother! http://i65.tinypic.com/23iec5u.jpg Not exactly what George Washington said but it is along the same lines. Re: Black Friday Record Number of NICS checks

I did a little homework and quick math. There have been 203 million checks since '98. Of those, 1.5 million have been denied (through Oct. 2017). That's a 0.72% denial rate. If we apply the same percentage to Black Friday's numbers then 201,542 were approved. I would suspect the denial rate is lower...

Re: Off-duty officer shoots, kills man brandishing gun at Kansas Costco

Costco policy does not prohibit licensed carriers., at least not legally. I'm sure they could kick you out for any number of things but they can't have you arrested for carrying. PC §30.06. TRESPASS BY HOLDER OF LICENSE TO CARRY CONCEALED HANDGUN. ...(3) “Written communication” means: (A) a card or ...

I wonder if there is a way to find out how many were approved or declined? I suspect a great majority are approved.

I have never not gotten a rebate back from a company. If you comply with their terms of submission then you'll get your money back.

I would keep copies of everything in case the USPS loses something.

Re: Signs for the CHLer

The gunbuster sign is the picture of a gun with the red circle and slash over it.

Their is no officially sourced sign. As long as it meets the State's criteria it is considered legal.

Re: SIG P938 Review - 1st shots

My wife picked up a P938 BRG. Out of the box it ran flawlessly. The thumb safety was a little stiff but it has loosened up now after I sat one evening and flicked it on and off while watching TV. The mags are a little stiff but since she will not be reloading them during an encounter I see it as a m...

Re: TX: 2 West University UPS drivers robbed of their uniforms

Around our town they have a runner on the truck during the busy holiday season. The driver drops the runner off on one street with a hand truck and they deliver one block while the driver delivers the next. So there may not be a big brown truck by the curb but there should be a hand truck some where.
