Re: Fayette County Clerk Office`

I thought anyone could post a 30.06 and/or 30.07 sign? Are there places that aren’t allowed to post those signs?

Re: The wait is over now where to stay...

It’s Dec 18-20 or 20-22nd? seems odd to run that close to Christmas, but I guess they’re open that week.

Re: Austin.....sure it is in Texas?

I live in Austin, & I like it! I’m proud to be a longhorn fan too. I’m also a democrate. I’m also proud to be a senior member of this great forum! & I did not vote for Trump. I guess I’m only one that has all these in common on here.

Re: CHL Denial

You might see about getting an order of non-disclosure too, although that may not be eligible to get for that. Otherwise need an expungement or pardon.

Re: Really Ticked Off

I guess no one reads my posts nor read my link. Misdemaenor assaults are permanently disqualying. (when straight convictions & against a family member) It doesn’t have to be a “Felony”

Re: Really Ticked Off

There seems to be some confusion on this forum regarding family violence assaults. Any misdemeanor (A,B or C) Assault where a family member is the victim is permanently disqualified. Both from having an LTC & federally prohibited from purchasing. This includes “Assault by Contact” or “Simple Ass...

What ever happened with this appeal? I’d be shocked if Bryan007 wins, but still curious.

Re: LTC renewal, come on DPS.......!

An angry soon to be ex-spouse would also have their Hubby/wife’s personal info, SSN, physical description, DL#, place of birth, everything under the sun, but the applicant may not want their soon to be ex calling in & getting info on their LTC. especially asking about when/where it’s being maile...

Re: LTC renewal, come on DPS.......!

LTC is not an open records Dept, they are not allowed to give info to anyone other than the applicant themselves. In fact, they can be in trouble for doing so.

Re: Really Ticked Off

https://www.justice.gov/usam/criminal-resource-manual-1117-restrictions-possession-firearms-individuals-convicted I think all too often people post here to try & sway others that they are eligible, when in fact they are not. The link above specifically tells us that his conviction of simple assa...

Re: Really Ticked Off

If he was charged & convicted of “Simple Assault” in Texas I’d bet the farm that there was some type of physical contact described in the official offense report from the arresting agency. Clearly a wife is considered family violence. I think this one is cut & dry.
