Re: Two Iraqis and a Guatemalan attempt to buy 4 M249 SAWs from DFW Gun Store
(NewsNation) — A federal judge in Illinois earlier this month ruled that a Mexican man who was living in the U.S. illegally had a constitutional right to own a firearm for self-defense. https://www.newsnationnow.com/on-balance-with-leland-vittert/illinois-judge-migrants-guns/#:~:text=(NewsNation)%2...

Re: Weapon lights on your EDC with Paul Howe
I have seen too many people including police using their weapon lights for a “flashlight.” So you are pointing your gun and something or someone you DON’T want to shoot. I carry a small Sure Fire hand held light in my left pocket. One of the Forum members (I don’t remember who) talked about flashli...

Re: Phelan Forced to a Primary Runoff
I’m still in shock over the NRA endorsing Phelan. Dude’s gotta go. I am sure not bashing the NRA, but I do have a genuine question. How does the NRA go about selecting who they will endorse? I don't recall what they said about why, but it seems like if someone hasn't tried to take away or harm any ...

Re: Weapon lights on your EDC with Paul Howe
After a few personal defense night matches at my club I realized I need to put a light on my handgun and get a holster that would allow me to carry it that way. I did that for my G21SF for several years. Now, I almost exclusively carry 1911’s in full or subcompact models without a light. I still hav...

That article about Reid retiring was from 8 years ago and he died 3 years ago.

Re: Mountain Lion Encounter
Although he didn’t run, I wonder about continuing to retreat like he did versus just standing still. He could have tripped walking backwards like he did and provided an opportunity for that lion to pounce.

I don’t have a 1911 in FDE yet or one with a 4.25” barrel.

Re: Don’t go to your door at night with a gun in your hand in Harris County
No glass/windows in my door. No windows next to my door. I don’t want bad guys being able to look inside my home and see what there is for them. Now I have to worry about what the good guys can see? Good grief!

Re: Mattress - WAY OFF TOPIC
Sleep number my friend. It is an air mattress, but WAY better. We're on our second one now for about 6-7 years. We had the first one for 15+ years maybe closer to 20. Try one out in a store. The only problem you may encounter is the length.

Re: How many levels of membership?
It looks like it might be time to upgrade again.
I am currently a Patriot-Endowment Life Member with an offer on the table to move up to Patron. I guess in the Endowment-Patron-Benefactor model it is a move up. I probably wouldn’t bite except there is a couple nice party gifts this go around.

We all know what’s wrong with CA & NM, but does Arizona like all the illegals or what? Even for a Democrat that can’t be good for your state. I guess party before state or people.

Re: Shot Show '24 Winchester Ranger .22 LR Lever Gun
Had to stop watching after he broke it down to avoid another purchase. I’m still eyeing an M1 Carbine and those chances are slipping away due to other things popping up that require funds. I also have a few .22’s and one is a Henry Evil Roy. I think that is hard to beat. And a Winchester 1906 purcha...
