Nursing homes
I was visiting a nursing home today and saw a sign that something along the line of no weapons permitted on these grounds. It had no 30.06 or any other kind of number, so I just walked right by it. I just read in the thread on Chl's that nursing homes were off limits. Do they need a proper 30.06 sig...

Re: Do you carry extra ammunition?
I always carry 2 extra mags, I carry a Kimber ultra cdp with a wilson mag, but carry full size wilsons in my mag pouch. Not so much for the extra ammo, but in case of a malfunction, also the full size mags are easier to grab and load than the shorter mags. It's no problem to carry extra mags and if ...

I'm it the market for a good flashlight. I was leaning toward the ex defender, but talked to a shop here and was told the new led lights were brighter and had longer battery life. I would like your ideas on each.

My daughter, who works for Texas A&M sent me this link. She has joined and it looks interesting. Maybe if enough of us start working on this, we can make the schools safer for all involved.

Last time I shot a .45 without muffs (to see what the noise level would be like in a defensive scenario....)...
