I use Uncle Mike's Sidekick (Size 5) IWB black holster for my 15+1 Beretta 92FS. I find it comfortable and quite concealable.

Re: Texas Training schools
I can't help slipping this in ... Back when I was a pre-Marine in El Paso, TX (1977) I met a former Navy SEAL who was living in town for some type of military contractual training at Fort Bliss. Long story short, we made a quick friendship and he took me out to the "desert" just outside El...

ALTERNATIVE SITE(s) ??? Re: Never going to QUAIL CREEK again
OK ... I hear everyone's opinion to the OP ... what is your suggestion for the next best range for those in the Flower Mound area? I prefer outdoors as it is TOO CONVENIENT to shoot indoors, perfect conditions, etc.
Thanks! :)
Thanks! :)

Re: DFW Gun Range
Hello all. New member in Arlington here. After letting my CHL expire in '04 because I was an idiot I have decided to get one again. I am looking to attend a CHL class at DFW Gun Range in Dallas and was curious as to your opinions on the instructors and such before I go. Has anyone here gone through...

LEWISVILLE/FLOWER MOUND Want to Team Up For Shooting?
I am in Lewisville close to the Flower Mound city limits and looking forward to others willing to head to the range together, if this seems worthwhile. I am a disabled/retired USMC veteran so my time might be more open than many others but hope to get a consensus of shooters in my area who would no...

Re: Carry Options ?
6', 195 lbs IWB clipped on sturdy leather belt about 2 o'clock (approximately in line with left seam of right front pocket. Beretta 92FS is fine sitting in the car (low bucket seats even!) and conceals well with just a T-shirt. Uncle Mike's Sidekick (Size 5 - keeps Beretta clean) works just fine :tx...

Beretta 92 FS
17 +1 [18]
Feel confident (confident I won't ever have to draw; but having the ammo the to, say, walk around a tractor trailor and pop every tire is a nice feeling.)

Re: Tarrant / Wise county ranges???
I'd like to stay away from Quail Creek type places... Do you care to expand your declaration " ... stay away from Quail Creek type places?" It doesn't give me anything except a possible dislike by one person for unknown reasons. I have gone to the http://www.quailcreekrange.com/ for both ...

Re: Left SIG for Beretta 92FS
Appreciate the feedback! :) To me, it all comes down to familiarity and routine. I get comfort from wearing this pistol all the time and firing it 99% of the time. I always know what weapon I am going to have to draw and I am confident in what it will do -- and my motions are instinctive. I occasio...

Left SIG for Beretta 92FS
It may seem anathema to many but I left my SiGPro 2340 and SIG P239 (.40 S&W and .357 SIG) for what many may call an old military-issue piece of junk. My reasons for carrying it? 1) I feel like it is an AK-47 of semi-autos (drop it in the mud and keep firing with confidence) 2) Accuracy (I get t...
