Re: Does anybody remember gun range on South Main , Houston, TX
Does any one recall the name of a gun range that was out on South Main in Houston? I'm old so I may be confused but seem I remember one and shooting there a time or two way back. IAJAOG :patriot: :txflag: Yup, I used to shoot trap and skeet there, (I was just out of diapers...). If memory serves, i...

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
This incident is a long time coming...Of course as much as I get around this forum, this is the first time I have heard of it... I agree this is something we can kick around the table at the TSRA table today... I am hopeful one of the organizations fighting for our 2nd Amendment rights will pick up...

http://www.nra.org/nralocal.aspx (must check places to shoot) NRA Local Range Finder Website - does NOT have all the ranges in an area. Data is user submitted so they might miss some ranges. This is a good tool to help you find ranges locally that you might not know about. I found ranges in places ...

Re: Marksman Range Report
Another +1 for Marksman. Super friendly, inexpensive, *and* they're the only indoor range I've found in Houston that allows shotguns. Now, if I could just practice drawing from the holster & shooting, I'd be in 7th heaven. Guess, we'll have to settle for 6th Heaven. I started shooting there in ...

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
If there is no satisfactory response from the PD, it then becomes a public issue brought to the attention of the city council and mayor. All the dirty laundry is brought to the table with the elected officials of the city involved. The local news media is involved. Pete Camp, THAT is an excellent w...

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
I ran across this thread last night and read all the posts. I thought about what I would do, complain or sue? I am not litigous by nature but filing a lawsuit may be the only way to get to the information I would be interested in. As I understand the facts this guy was reported to the police as hav...

Re: Question regarding PA Non-Resident Carry License
Yes. The two licenses have nothing to do with one another, except that Pennsylvania seems to accept the Texas training and background checks to some extent. Texas turnaround times are coming way down. There is still a backlog, but by 2014 I expect turnaround will be in the neighborhood of 5 minutes...

Question regarding PA Non-Resident Carry License
I followed the advice of a post I saw earlier somewhere here and got a Pennsylcania License to Carry. Amazingly quick I might add. Check and application sent December 17 and permit issued Dec 22 and received by me Dec 28. My question is this. My TX CHL expires 5/16/14 and the PA expires 12/22/14. I ...
