Re: Fun, but disappointing day at the range.

Sighting in the AR's Acog 4x sight - first 3 at the bottom-right, then 2 shots for fine-tuning to the left of that. Moved the Vortex Sparc II 1x red-dot that was originally on the AR over to my AK. Those sight-ins are in the middle (first group was way off) - the 5 shot-group at the top was with my...

Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 Bargain price - Grabagun

Grabagun has Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 Sport Rifles cheaper than I've seen in a long, long time. I paid $329 for both of mine and they're now $316.75 with shipping a flat $7.99. These rifles are as fun to shoot as rolling pill bugs to toad frogs.

Re: Bearding

I don't put much by way of products on my beard any longer. I used to use a beard balm, but it made my beard feel stiff due to the waxes in it. These days, I pretty much limit it to a little Moroccan Oil every couple of days. The whiskers soak up the oil and it keeps them soft and luxuriant. And it...

Re: Help me understand something

Complacency can cause many things to happen once you've done something hundreds of times. Still in my first year of daily handling a firearm so I'm still extremely cautious about safe practices. However I just cleaned my pistol with the magazine and 1 loose round on the table. This was driven home ...

I noticed he has a Psalms 23 tattoo on his neck. Maybe he misread it as "yea, tho' I walk thru the golden arches, my robe and my brush they comfort me"

Re: Anyone have a Laser Max Guide Rod laser sight?

Anyone here have any experience with the Laser Max Guide spring guide lasers? I have done a little research and found a Glock 19 at a pawn shop that had one, but the batteries were dead. Reviews have been favorable but they were mostly professional writers. Just wondering if anyone has one. I'm con...

Re: Anyone have a Laser Max Guide Rod laser sight?

I have one. It was already installed on a Glock 19 I purchased from a family member. It has been reliable and I have not had any malfunctions related to it. Personally, I believe lasers on weapons are of more limited utility than most people think. It is often faster to pick up your sights than it ...

Re: Watched Hacksaw Ridge last night

Catch 22...I read the book but have never seen the movie. After reading those kinds of books, I hesitate to watch the movie for fear of being disappointed... I've read Catch-22 at least half a dozen times. The movie was actually not bad, but couldn't capture it completely. I'm reading a WWII book t...

Re: 6 weeks Taurus... 6 weeks

Back in the late 60's and early 70's they were known as one of the Saturday night specials. Cheap and undependable Their revolvers were actually very good firearms. They were made on Smith and Wesson designed machines. I sold many of their revolvers back then and never had one problem or returned g...

I think this song spoke to many people and Ted Nugent makes a statement for all of us in his tribute. I ad my own thanks to the late, great Chuck Berry by posting this.

Re: LDS Missionary smites robbers

Yeah he picked the wrong "soft" target wearing a tie. All LDS members are required to do two years of missionary service. That includes BYU football players, wrestlers, basketball players, and other athletes. The BG will probably rethink his career choice. That doesn't include Steve Young...
