But, the 38s got her going, and she liked the Taurus 709. Still scared of the S&W 40 though.

Re: Saddle River Range, Conroe, TX

The wife and I just visited this range and had a great time. It is 4 miles West of 45 on FM 1488 a little South of Conroe. It is a very nice, large facility with 24 lanes, a gunsmith, a cafe, and a large sales area. We were impressed by the friendliness of all the staff. They have special nights fo...

Re: Walked out of Academy Last Night

I recently ordered ammo online (June 5) and nowhere was I asked or required to provide my BD or age. I purchased some .22 Mag and .22 LR since then in my local store (maybe a week and a half ago) ; no questions nor requirement to provide BD or ID, nada. I'm casually acquainted with a manager with Ac...

I'm convinced Kel-Tec manufactures and ships their firearms one truck load at a time.

Re: GUN BROKER

My latest Gun Broker aquisition. My FFL charges $15 for transfers w/ LTC. This little Remington Mohawk 10C is about 95%. Got a pretty good deal on it, too. Stock has no scratches and the metal is in really nice condition - a little wear spot on one side just before the muzzle. This is just like the ...

Re: Ruger #1 for $899

I could not resist the temptation, I ordered one in 375 H&H. FYI Cabelas offers 5% off for Veterans so it brought the price down to $855, there's no way I could turn that down. Now to buy brass, bullets, dies........ :thumbs2: :thumbs2:If I had the money I'd have one on the way. I will have to ...

Re: House Majority Whip Shot

I just saw that Congressman Scalise's injuries are far more severe than I had been hearing on the news. His pelvis was shattered by the bullet. Continued prayers for his doctors as they perform surgeries and for Rep Scalise and his loved ones.

Re: GUN BROKER

So it is basically like eBay? I usually check the feed back there before buying also. I have noticed on most an FFL is required. With I don't have. Is that the case with all? Bidding is not exactly like Ebay. GB has a 15 minute rule to keep last second bidders from sniping. With couple of exception...

Re: Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot $25 after rebate

If you're a Prime member, you can get at $75.xx after tax here @ Amazon . :thumbs2: within pennies of what GaG charged yesterday after tax + shipping. I normally use Primary Arms dots but I couldn't pass up the deal, assuming they honor the rebate. :thumbs2: Normally GaG runs their sales longer tha...
