Re: Good Summer Sausage?

I stopped by Prasek's on the way home last Monday and bought some of their Beef Summer Sausage. I tried it tonight along side some Kroger brand. The Prasek's is good, but the Kroger's has a better overall flavor to me. I wouldn't turn down the Prasek's on a party tray. The hardest part tonight was h...

Re: Brass Cleaning

I use a Dillon CV-2001 with crushed walnut hulls. I typically use the cheapest car polish I can find, but I recently tried Turtle Wax Polishing Compound . I was very surprised how well it works because I had previously tried one of Mequiar's polishing compound and it didn't work at all. Over time, ...

I really like my PM40. To me the long trigger pull is fine for a CC SD weapon. If I ever have to use mine in a self defense scenario I probably wouldn't even notice it!

Re: Good Summer Sausage?

Lena, Some of the best sausage products I've ever eaten came from a place called: Praseks on Hwy 59 near El Campo, Texas. Not only do they make great meat products, they're absolutely great people to do business with. I'm sure they'd ship you their summer sausage. I might add: Their stuff cost more...

Re: Good Summer Sausage?

I stopped by Krogers today after a hair cut to buy the krogers private select beef summer sausage and some deli cheese. Will try it tonight and see how i like it. It only cost 5.00 for a 14oz roll. I hope you enjoy it! I am usually loathe to recommend food/restaurants etc. to folks. Invariably they...

Re: Good Summer Sausage?

Anyone know where or who has some really good summer sausage, I love it with crackers and cheese? I heard that Sprouts deli had some but not one close to me to see. No hot or spicy just good tasting. Thanks to all. You might try Kroger's Private Selection brand Beef Summer Sausage. I used to buy Hi...

Re: New Spotting Scope: Bushnell Legend Tactical 15-45x60, lots of images

Very Nice! Thanks for the photos and review. Looking forward to your field review. I have a Leopold Sequoia 20-60X80 that I'd like to get a set up for my viewing with my phone or through my computer. I bought an Alpen Micro Adjustable Table Top 705 tripod for my scope that I really like. Has knobs f...

I received and email from Gander Outdoors today indicating firearms, ammunition and other firearms, hunting and shooting merchandise is available. It appears they will be opening stores in 2018 including Texas - Amarillo and Ft Worth.

Re: Looking for a Llama .380 Magazine

For all Lllama 380s made in Spain (until 2005 approx) There are really only 2 380 mags - Early for II and II with narrow base, and Late for IIIA/XA/Especiale/MicroMax with wide base. Your Llama probably has a slide rib, which makes it a Late style or IIIA. It doesn't matter whether it is blowback o...

Re: Looking for a Llama .380 Magazine

Took my Llama .380 to my local gun show today attempting to locate an OEM magazine. I saw several Llama .380's that were the same model as mine. (they use what is known as a wide base magazine.) One vendor had a pistol with three magazines for $600 and was willing to let one of the magazines go for ...
