Re: Is it time to get serious?

99.999999% of memes are copyright protected photos or images that have been "stolen". My solution to the problem you mentioned is I just don't use Facebook. Not helpful I know... but your time is much better spent taking someone shooting who has never been to the range, etc. We won't win on social ...

Re: The "Riot Mentality" of School Shootings

I wish the news media could be banned from identifying these murderers by name. Give them no notoriety whatsoever.

Re: Does Having An LTC Make You An Implied LEO?

Talking to an ex-LEO friend about that question. He said you should make yourself a very good witness. This. If anyone saw the recent video of Pasadena Police Officer Mark Adams's shooting incident and noticed the man in the background walking past the scene he's a good example of what to do. He wa...

Is it time to get serious?

I just responded to someone on Face Book who posted an outrageous anti-gun meme that included the official NRA logo/seal. I was wondering if that is a copyright protected emblem and if the NRA could legally prevent it's use or misuse. I also thought that maybe it's time we fight back the way the lef...

Very Nice! :thumbs2: You giving Andy a run for his money? :biggrinjester: Not a chance! First, he’s just a better shot than I am. And second, I don’t practice enough. Andy beats me like a red-headed stepchild at a family gathering; he beats me like a rented mule; he beats me like a gong. I’ll...

Has anyone tried to use Camp's pages lately? login required?

I tried to access a manual for a Stoeger Luger and got a box requiring a login ID and password. I also saw a a statement that much of the information has been removed to prevent access by the wrong people. I saw no instructions or provision to set up an ID and PW. I found a manual elsewhere on the w...

It’s fitted for a left hander, with left handed cast and palm swell. Additionally, mine has an aftermarket butt pad which adjusts the stock in multiple planes. 57E64CDB-A2FC-438F-92F7-8B7C82FD5658.jpeg It’s fitted for a left hander, with left handed cast and palm swell. Re: 40mm grenade training ammo

The foam rounds are less-than-lethal crowd control rounds, though I suppose they could be used for training too, since they're cheap-ish and don't have any explosives in them. Actual 40mm training rounds are the chalk rounds which leave a cloud of chalk dust where they impact, so it's easier to see...

Re: The Winchester 1300 shotgun

I have a 1300 and a couple of it's predessesors Model 1200. They are smoother and less clanky than all the other pumps I own. I bought one back in 1966 that I shot sleet with. It was stolen, but the point is it was smooth and fast enough to shoot doubles with no problem. I have a Benneli Supernova ...

Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation

I lived in Colorado in the early ‘70’s. It was a lot like Texas, only with Marijuana. Lots of hunters. It’s probably been Kalifornized since I left. Could happen here. I moved out in '76, we called it Californicated... And lots of Texas hunters. On my last visit in 1979 they didn't seem to have muc...
