Sweating copper piping: https://www.familyhandyman.com/plumbing/how-to-solder-copper-pipe/view-all/ I learned how to do this when helping a friend build a hunting camp; not hard. Flux is the magic ingredient - don't ignore it. :iagree: What AndyC said. Its not hard. About 20 bucks worth of supplies...

Re: Jury duty in Houston tomorrow

There was a part of me that wanted to serve on a trial jury. But I didn't want to spend 4 valuable days of my life doing it... Double edged sword... -- Civic duty.... The person on trial deserves a jury of peers. -- Some trials can be very unpleasant.... Murder, etc. I served on a case I'd rather f...

In other news Mattress Firm, now that it is a public company, realizes that its real estate executives have been self dealing on leases throughout the country, by paying higher than market rates and longer than normal leases on properti...

Re: Bottom Handguns!

I do not understand why Hi-Point makes these lists. Some you list will blow up in your hand, the Hi-Point is just ugly as sin. In my experience I would much rather have a Hi-Point than any semi auto Taurus makes. Ugly pistols are better than single shot pistols. A lot of people wave off these kind ...

Re: Net Neutrality?

In principle net neutrality is a good thing. What it was supposed to do is require carriers to treat all data equally. So if you sat in your chair and streamed 5 gig og movies they could not slow up your connection in order to make sure business email could get through. Unfortunately as with all gov...

I'd add an emoticon, but we don't have a double face palm yet. It will be very difficult to replace a Glock 19 service revolver! :smilelol5: "rlol" I wonder if he still keeps his bullet in his shirt pocket? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/2b/Don_Knotts_Andy_Griffith_Show...
