Oakland jewelry store robbed by two armed masked men one with drum magazine. Store employee shoots first. Uses cover. Bad guys leave. Not arrested by police, officers at the scene said he did the right thing. His gun not taken yet. Sounds like 30 rounds at least exchanged.

Is this in response to the Asian shop keeper in China town who shot at a robber who was beating and robbing a tourist of her camera in front of his store?
The shop keeper was arrested.
