Re: Ruger LCP Loaded Carry

You're overthinking it. I carried an LCP for years in a simple nylon pocket holster without an issue.

Re: How do you train at the range?

Always. The only time I'm just punching paper is when I'm zeroing something. At minimum I'm working on target transitions, drawing and firing, shooting on the move and reloads, and usually a combination of those with a shot timer. Lots of the time I also include things like using cover and barricade...

Updated. Most of the accessories have sold so selling the rifle alone now. I'll throw in the 30mm scope rings if you need them.

Why do you need more than one boat anchor? :evil2:

Re: How do you carry it?

My gear just sits in the corner in the back of my car. My philosophy on armor is this: 1. There's a slim chance I'll ever need it. 2. If I need it, I'm REALLY going to need it. 3. It's impractical to wear 24/7. 4. If I'm going to need to wear it, there's a good chance I'll have some warning. You cou...

Re: Glock 19's..... they multiply!

They really do. A few months ago a good friend who isn't even a gun guy randomly gave me a 19 frame for some work I did. Over time I accumulated the cheapest parts I could find and ended up getting it completed for well under half the price of a new one.

Re: WTS: Savage Mark II TRR-SR

Man, that is a sweet little rifle. Sadly though, it's "wrong-handed" for me. :???: If it were a lefty, I'd take it, along with the accessories. SOMEBODY BUY THIS RIFLE!!!! You won't regret it. Shooting it lefty just makes it easier to work the action, you don't even have to remove your ot...

Re: WTS: Savage Mark II TRR-SR

Price lowered. Selling the rifle alone for $400. I'm selling (or trying to) the accessories elsewhere. So they may not be unavailable.

Also I found the rest of the mags, in total there are 5, 4 10rd (two NIB) and the stock 5rd.

WTS: Savage Mark II TRR-SR

Selling off another of my rarely-used rifles. Paintjob is by yours truly ;-) http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIITRRSR This is a very accurate and very fun 22LR rifle; I've dinged 12"-16"ish steel plates over and over with it at 250yds (with about a 6 foot holdover of course). I...

I've had one since 2011.

My dad had one from his 40s on. I never really considered it until I started contracting overseas and got tired of shaving ;-)

Go right up the hill to Proactive Defense and enjoy a lot more freedom for shooting on the move, practicing reloads, using cover and more now that it's zeroed
