WTS: Savage Mark II TRR-SR

Selling off another of my rarely-used rifles. Paintjob is by yours truly ;-) http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIITRRSR This is a very accurate and very fun 22LR rifle; I've dinged 12"-16"ish steel plates over and over with it at 250yds (with about a 6 foot holdover of course). I...

WTS: 20" AR-15

I'm not desperate to sell this, but it's only been taken out a couple of times and I really don't have a place or the time to do any longer range shooting. I have around $1700-1800 in it as it sits. I'm looking for $1250 , preferably FTF in the north Ft. Worth area (I live fairly close to Cabelas). ...

Re: Bearding

I've had one since 2011.

My dad had one from his 40s on. I never really considered it until I started contracting overseas and got tired of shaving ;-)

Go right up the hill to Proactive Defense and enjoy a lot more freedom for shooting on the move, practicing reloads, using cover and more now that it's zeroed

Re: Which gun is it for you?

Easy choices for me... I have two. First is my Browning SA-22. I think it's a 1957, first purchased by my grandfather, passed on to my dad and then to me. It looks brand new and shoots perfectly. If I have kids it'll go to them when I pass. Second is my Beretta 948, which is a 1956 model, also a 22....

This would be awesome news, especially since I just got my first auto knife in years and it's a dual edge

Re: Work Out Carry

Depending on the exercises being done it might not be perfect, but for running I use a Hill People Gear recon kit bag with a stabilizer strap. It's very comfortable and holds both my G19 and my wallet (and phone if needed). https://www.hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1/ProductID/5 They make v...

I like the Safariland ALS.

Yup. Hard to go wrong with any Safariland duty-style holsters. I just bought my 3rd.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Serpas are junk for multiple reasons and I'll never use one again if I have a choice.

Re: Battle rifle???? Really?

I was always under the impression that the term "battle rifle" referred to such firearms as the M-14, FN-FAL, HK G3, etc. In other words, military full-automatic capable rifles in 7.62x51mm. The term differentiates those "full-power" rifles from the types such as the M-16 and ot...

Re: Is the 'Techna Clip' legal carry in Texas?

Have you Shot a Body guard? Yes. To each their own. DONE In most cases, sure, but carrying this way puts others at risk, not only yourself, and not just because of the possibility of an ND (no matter how unlikely you may think it is) but also because a clip is less secure than a holster and can all...
