Re: A Different Type of Secession Is Already Happening in the USA
I agree with that article and am thinking of moving to a more rural area myself. I do everything I can to stay out of Harris County but that is not always possible.

This means also that it was designed as a bio-weapon (again easy to believe). But that implies to me that it was released deliberately as an attack and I still find that hard to believe Steve, I listen to Victor Davis Hanson a lot and, early last year, he was saying that China had quarantined Wuhan...

Re: Article: What’s The Best Way To Clean Brass?
Wet tumbling is not complicating things, at least in my situation. All of the brass I get comes off the ground at PSC Shooting Club. Some of that brass has been on the ground through rain storm or several evenings where it gets wet from the dew on the ground. Ever de-prime brass that has been in tho...

Re: Vortex Razor Gen II 3-18
I'll second The Annoyed Man's recommendation. I have two of the scopes he mentioned and they are very good, great for an AR. I have shot out to 600 yards with it and it did very well. I don't think you will be disappointed on the long range side and 2X is good for the short range side.

Re: Article: What’s The Best Way To Clean Brass?
I wish I could get the results y'all get. I wet tumble to get the brass clean (and hopefully the primer pocket as well but that does not always happen). When the brass first comes out of the wet tumbler, it is bright and shiny. It doesn't take long for it to start darkening. I started out using Dawn...

Now I understand the reason for COVID. It has so many people scared to go vote that it set up a huge mail in ballot system to make voter fraud easier.

Re: Holsters
I bought the M-TAC years ago for a full size M&P 45 and like it. I bought another one several years later (to have one that I could alternate with for days when the leather got wet with sweat) and found that Comp-tac changed the way they cut the leather. One the original holster, I could get a g...

Re: Dillon 650 / Swage It
I have the Dillon Primer Pocket Swage Tool (Super Swage 600) and it works very well for me. I load mixed 223/5.56 brass picked up off the ground at PSC. At first, I would sort the brass for cases that had a crimp and those that don't but that took too much time. I now run every case through the Supe...

I have read that CCI 400 are the same as their small pistol magnum. You might want to confirm that with them.

Re: anyone still carry a 1911?
Yes, I still carry a 1911. Sometimes it is a full size all steel and but most of the time now, it is an aluminum frame commander. I do carry two extra magazines as well. I have high capacity 9 mm pistols and shoot them well but, given a choice, I prefer the 1911 in 45 ACP. I hear a lot about having ...

Re: Bedside Pistol - Springfield XDM Elite OSP????
Just a thought on the noise issue. When I took some training classes from a retired Houston PD SWAT Team Lead (23 years in SWAT), I asked about the noise from shooting. He said audio exclusion will protect my ears. I was not sure what to make of that until I watched a video series by Lt. Col. Grossm...

Re: Getting Started Reloading with Limited Space
Additional information to muddy the water. I started reloading for a 357 magnum in 1974 with the Lee kit that requires the use of a plastic hammer to drive the brass in and out of the dies (no press) and uses a powder scoop rather than weighing each charge on a scale. I was in college and broke and ...

Re: Protests - the next level?
This belongs to the local and state governments to deal with and they need to do that soon. One of the bright spots of these actions is that it may lead to a lot of folks that used to vote blue voting red out of fear for their safety. If that happens, post election all of this should be brought to a...
