Re: WTS: Del-Ton (DTI) AR-15 5.56mm + extras $500 (W Houston)

Just wondering if this was a specific del-ton model or you built it with their parts?
Chrome barrel?
Rate of twist?

Beautiful rifle BTW!

New hand made holster

]I haven't posted in a while but I've been back reading the forum lately and thought I'd post tonight. I recently sold a Taurus PolyProtector 605 .357 snub nose. It was lightweight as you can imagine but also kicked like a mule. In fact, it was the only gun I've ever shot that actually hurt. I had b...

Re: Ostrich Holsters

usually I use an edge beveler then I burnish with a dowel and gum t. But the problem I'm having with ostrich is that you really can't use an edge beveler because it tears the ostrich because it's so thin and not rigid.

Re: Ostrich Holsters

I cut out the pattern for mine and sanded the edges and then glued the ostrich to it. The problem for me is that the ostrich is not going to be the exact size as your leather so you have to sand again and somehow make the ostrich flush with the leather without tearing it up.
