Re: Prominent Republican Donor Issues Ultimatum on Assault Weapons

Al Hoffman Jr., a Florida-based real estate developer who was a leading fund-raiser for George W. Bush’s campaigns Bush is not running nor will be, so we dont care if he refuses to donate to Bushs non campaign every again. There has not been a "Assault weapon " for sale openly to a public...

Re: I can't make sense of Texas Armor Piercing Ammo Laws

For me the key parts are "46.01 (12) “Armor-piercing ammunition” means handgun ammunition that is designed primarily for the purpose of penetrating metal or body armor and to be used principally in pistols and revolvers." It does not say capable it says designed primarily, and those are th...

Re: Request for Texas AG opinion on body cams

MechAg94 has the issue the DA is asking about. Getting a statement from the officer -- not only for investigating the incident, but for investigating his actions and possible wrongdoing -- is the point. While his body cam may not pick up things he sees that are out of view of the camera, other body...

Re: Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?

The 51% sign is different than 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Would have to do some research when I get a chance. Maybe srothstein will chime in. To the laymen it is worded strangely http://codes.findlaw.com/tx/government-code/gov-t-sect-411-204.html I do not understand why a Hosp would need a "51&quo...

Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007?

Hospitals MUST post 3006/3007? OK, yes I am considering the "source" But I like to be informed, so If I have misunderstood that Hospitals CAN post vice the statement that they MUST post or are are statutorily off limits. So regardless of the source Id like to know the ground truth. Eric Pa...

Forum rules on decorum prevent me from making the statement I would like to make, Likely my grandmother would not have approved, my mother would have said, Yes sounds about right. I can assure all, the thought is not referencing Transgender, ect, but this despicable person itself. And now, this ment...

Re: Can't bring ammo into California

I'm not sure the 30rnd is an improvement, at least for non military combat situations. Darn things are just too big and get in the way. 15 and 20 seem ideal, but that is just me, YMMV. I agree with you, but only for shooting from a bench. I pretty much always use a 20 round mag for that. In any oth...

Re: Can't bring ammo into California

What if, when I visit my brother and niece in CA, my ammo and gun self identify as binary fruits and nuts? In addition they clearly will be "undocumented" and thus should be coved under the sanctuary laws as they will not have been convicted of a crime

Meh, that doesn't really happen IRL, not without good reason.

I accept that you think that to be true in good faith , my recent last 2 years experience in the K9 world, leads me to believe otherwise . :tiphat:
