Re: Asking for a friend. Public intoxication

As long as he has not had two previous convictions for PI.it would then be a class B. Ok then I must be missing or misunderstanding the statute. It says in part (c) Except as provided by Subsection (e), an offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor. . Sub section (e) states (e) An offense ...

Re: Oliver North to speak at 30.06ed Church

If concealed handguns represent a liability to your business operations, then what do you do to ensure that people don't carry them into your business. Putting up a sign for law abiding LTC's to obey doesn't seem like it would relieve you of liability if someone violated it. And cops and volunteer ...

Re: Airforce missing machine gun and box of grenades

Kinda scary, I hope they find these weapons, before they fall into the wrong hands. Maybe military standards have changed since I left. This would never happen in any unit I was in. https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/18/politics/air-force-missing-weapons-investigation/index.html As one of the guys at the ...

Re: Oliver North to speak at 30.06ed Church

I have in the past used my "purple underwear law" as an example. If you're wearing purple underwear and nobody can see it except you, it would be ridiculous to pass a law saying that you are committing criminal trespass on a merchant's property because you walked in wearing purple underwear under y...

Re: Oliver North to speak at 30.06ed Church

why should a property owner be able to restrict something that doesn't affect his property .. Some get it, some dont. I often wonder how many that dont, are not property owners.. (as much as one can "own" property in the US). And if they are property owners, can they with a straight face say, they ...

Re: Compact 45 for concealment

Went to the range this morning with a friend and shot is 45 XD model. I actually shot his weapon better than my own guns. Just wondering is their anyone out there that carry's a 45 compact or one that can be concealed that is not a glock or 1911. I love my CZ's I just wish they made a 45 in the con...

Re: Why Is Passenger Asked For I.D.?

The mentality that "you have nothing to worry about if you are doing nothing illegal" comes from the mindset of sheeple. Ignoring your attempt at belittling fellow members for now, I also happen to think your way off base, at least for me personally. My mindset of I have nothing to worry becuase I ...

Re: Laptop display problem

It might work on Windows 7. Just boot up the laptop with the external monitor connected. Give it enough time to full boot, then hit Windows + P. There are multiple options Extend, Duplicate, External only. So hit the P, 1/2/3 times and see if anything happens. FYI, if you use Outlook for your email...

Re: Laptop display problem

My laptop display is toast. Actually, the plug for the monitor is damaged, so I can't install a new internal monitor. Most of my files and data are on DropBox, so that's not a problem. However, it's been too long since I exported a pst file, so I've lost a lot of emails and contacts. I tried connec...

Re: MA: 70 year old man arrested with assault rifle and 350 rounds of ammunition, oh my

Police Commissioner William B. Evans said in a statement that such military-style weapons make the city’s streets more dangerous. “There is no need for any citizen in the city of Boston to be carrying high powered weapons of this kind, and there are just too many of these guns out there,” he said. ...

What are the grenade looking things near the bottom of the picture? I suspect they are smoke or eye irritant type of devices but not sure. The ones in the tan holder look to be 40mm rounds of unknown type. The two silver canister with orange "shells " also appear to be 40mm rounds and might be a ir...

There is nothing I can say that makes it better..... Like you and so many others, that last day, I have lived though it, as have our kids...It is never not sad, even when it was for the better. Like you are likely thinking right now, I have uttered the words, not again, not another one...But today w...

Re: Opps, Yes that does look bad, doesn't it.

I'm a little slow sometimes. Was the problem alcohol (bottles) in a (stationary, unoccupied [by humans]) vehicle, or was the problem alcohol (bottles) on school property? Truck was running, lights on and I was the admitted driver..So I assume it was what he first thought was a open container of bee...
