Re: Trump health chief supports CDC research on gun violence

Here we go...is the GOP getting ready to cave? Yes. Just my opinion, but I just don't see how we can keep it from happening pretty soon. We have too many politicians now who support only the rear end (butt) of the 2nd Amendment. ("I support the 2nd Amendment, but..."). https://www.cbsnews...

As I suspected, the statistic is completely contrived.

May I share your analysis elsewhere?

Re: Gun safe in garage

I have to admit, I hadn't considered this. I figured the temperature extremes and humidity in the summer would be a no go. But seeing that many are doing it, I may have to reconsider.

Looks like Federal cut a check for their rebate as well. I think I'm going to be springing for an Inline Fabrication quick change mount for my workbench.

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience

If the dealer offers you a better deal (first time the dealer beat my bank by 3/4%), just tear up the check. No harm, no foul. In the few cars that I've purchased, I've found that I get the best rates from the dealer. When we bought a truck for my wife, the dealer said they will go as low as X% (I ...

If they can get out from under Freedom Group, they might have a chance to redeem their brand. This could end up being a good thing.

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience

One thing I've read is that the listed invoice isn't really what they're paying these days and there is no doubt more wiggle room in the price than the invoice would lead you to believe. Now clearly, dealers have to eat too but make them earn it. I've avoided some of the car buying services like Tru...
