Perhaps we should limit nail-guns to 8-nail magazines! (or is it clips?)
What about coil nailers and those evil drum "mags"?

Re: Truck Stolen

...back in the saddle again!!! good catch!!! Not just yet. I'm still waiting on the insurance payout. My "truck" can really only be described as a random assortment of parts, and is missing one very key element... The engine! All of that aside, Garland police get a huge :thumbs2: from me....

Re: Truck Stolen

Pieces of my truck were found in a chop shop in Garland Texas. After speaking with a detective, the only item that is possibly recoverable is my tool box. The detective will be going to look over all of the recovered car parts today, and let me know if the tool box is damaged. As expected, the engin...

It was a solid color, but thank you for keeping an eye out. I believe it is either in Mexico, or in pieces by now though.

Re: Truck Stolen

The license plate isn't on the insurance card? I vaguely remember my vehicle's number on the card carried in the glove box from my Texas days. Good luck recovering it. I had a motorcycle lifted from my apartment's parking lot 3 miles from the border in El Paso. I imagine it was in Mexico in 10 minu...

Re: Truck Stolen

Kind of after-the-fact, but if any of you have truck worth stealing in Texas (i.e., pretty much all of them), this works wonders: http://www.ravelco.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I will DEFINITELY be looking into this when I get a new truck. Especially since I travel...

Re: Truck Stolen

I wish I had my plate memorized. I have the VIN number from the insurance card, but all of the other information is filed away at home in Bryan. I have failed miserably in that regard. In the future, I think I will log all important data on my computer as well as save a coded copy to my gmail accoun...

Truck Stolen

This is a long shot, but I figure it won't hurt. My truck was stolen from my hotel in Irving Texas early this morning. I have filed a police report and talked to the hotel employees. All the information I have I have given to the police. Truck: 2004 Dodge 2500 diesel Quad cab/ long bed Maroon Very l...

Re: texas handgun hunting laws...

Nothing to complain about there wharvey. That's some pretty good shooting. :thumbs2: I've never pistol hunted, but when I bow hunt I limit my shots to under 40 yards for multiple reasons. I've never really had a problem making accurate shots on game. I get the adrenaline "shakes" after I'v...

Re: Any plumbers in the house?

Schedule 40 PVC is what you want. Pex pipping is some awesome stuff and very easy to use, but it's not meant to be run underground. CPVC is used for hot water applications, so it's a non- starter here. Dub brought up a valid point. Some cities may require a permit for even this relatively simple job...

The ram-sets Ive used utilize what was basically a .22 blank. They are color coded as to the amount of powder in each shell. More powder= larger nail.
