Re: At What Price Point For A Used Gun Do You Say No Thanks?

If I can pay 20% more (or depending on the retail price , less than $100 more or so) I'll wait and buy new

M&P vs M&P Performance Center vs C.O.R.E.

I am considering investing (ok, you caught me, spending money on a new range toy!).... I really like the M&P Line and have several of them, so I am not interested in Glocks or Springfields or any others. My question to the group is about benefits of the Performance Center or C.O.R.E. vs the stan...

Re: Walther P22

P22's have an historic issue of not properly feeding ammo other than CCI, due not enough blow back pressure

What you may want to do to fix it, is invest in the barrel extension
With the barrel extension, the pressure increases and relieves the issue

Optic (red/green dot) for .22 pistol

I have had a couple Ruger Mk III 22/45's for a few years now
I love shooting them and finally thinking about putting the rail on top and adding a red/green dot optic for plinking

So I'm asking for suggestions for a reasonably inexpensive optic which is good for pistols
Thanks

Re: Problem with Gun

My XDs .45 (3.3") does the same
I consider it part of the weapons function and don't worry about it

It has started to clear a bit easier, but I have probably put 500 rounds through it by now.

Re: GUN IN RENTAL VEHICLE

Just remember to get your gun out when you turn the car in

I neglected to do that about 4-5 years ago - I wrote a post about the experience as a "what not to do" scenario

Re: Outragous - Dicks Sporting Goods

The clerk asks the zip code question, not the credit card terminal. Simply put. WRONG Any Academy I have gone to in the Houston, Webster, Pasadena areas. you are asked to enter the zip code ON THE CC Terminal. I ALWAY hit "cancel" and NEVER put it in. -Why? Because I dont give my phone, e...

Re: Outragous - Dicks Sporting Goods

Then why was it the credit card terminal that asked the question? Credit card terminals are just an extension of the Point of Purchase (POP) machine (cash register for us old folks). Its a computer, programmed by Dicks. Just like at Academy where it asks for Zip Code, I always hit cancel. Yet I sti...

Re: Looking for a good holster inside and outside

I have the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 (IWB) and I love it. I actually forget that I'm wearing it. I carry at about 3:30-4:00 position. It's a great holster for the money and it carry's a lifetime warranty and free shell swaps if you decided to change your EDC gun. :woohoo :iagree: I liked th...

Re: Do you shoot a handgun with both eyes open?

both eyes open for me, all the time with handguns

With long guns, depends if it is iron sights or optics.
if iron sights, both eyes, if optics, 1 eye
