With long guns, depends if it is iron sights or optics.

Re: Do you refuse to do business with 30.06 & 30.07 businesses?

Why all of the contempt for property owners who don't want weapons? Its not contempt from my point of view It is, as you say, exercising my right to choose who gets my hard earned money. Much like when Dixie Chicks made the anti-Bush statements in England and at that point most (that I knew) radio ...

Re: Do you refuse to do business with 30.06 & 30.07 businesses?

Its hard to say I 100% refuse. In some cases, there are no alternatives if you need their product/service (medical is more what I am referring to) If it is a restaurant or retail store that prevents me from carrying (concealed), then I will go elsewhere. I have upset my wife more than 1 time by pull...

Re: WTT M&P Shield 8 round mags for 7 round mags

Just speculating to why you both shoot better groups with the 7 round mag.

Could be that with the shorter magazine, you don't have a full hand on the weapon and you are gripping just slightly stronger and higher on the grip than you do with a full grip on the gun with 8 round mag

Re: Question about carrying in others home

If they do not want you to carry in their house, they have to give you the same notice as a public business or other entity.

There is no requirement to tell them you are carrying a weapon

Re: Smith & Wesson Unveils New M&P M2.0 Pistol for 2017

I would request, once you shoot this new M2.0, please write a review (on a new thread) comparing what you feel versus the M&P (standard version... not sure to call it 1.0 or what)

Have him look at all of the news articles where people were killed with 'empty' guns while cleaning them or when they 'thought' they were empty

Re: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SMALL COMPACT SEMI FOR PETITE LADY

M&P Shield 9, is one of the compacts which a lot of women I work with like.
another is the Walther CCP 9.

The Walther CCP 9 has a lighter recoil spring for easier handling of the slide and the recoil is much lighter than most other compacts.
Just something to consider.

Re: Sign validity

TABC signs are different than 30.06/07 signs. if someone "reprints them", in a valid "Gun Sign = RED" location, then they are valid... at least if you are arrested, you have no defense of prosecution as you have with a 30.06/07 that does not follow the letter of the law in size/w...

Re: pasadena gun show

Free parking at Pasadena
Costs $10-$15 at GRB or NRG

On top of the $8 fee to get in

So for that reason Pasadena is better than the others

High Caliber usually has better pricing than the Premier or others
So if you want to hit a good one, HC is the way to go
