Re: HB 560 - Holy Grail?

Mr. Cotton - That is the best idea I have heard this year regarding 560/CC. I will support you and your bill to the full extent I can. It makes perfect sense.

Re: HB 560 - Holy Grail?

Received an email this morning (like probably a lot you all did) from Alice Tripp/TSRA why constitutional carry (CC) did not make it this past session and what they (TSRA) are going to do to get it done in the next session. Sure sounded to me that CC was going to be the priority next session. The di...

Re: Knife Law

I am just trying to get this straight in my mind. Am I correct in thinking I can carry a knife over 5.5 in. long in a church or hospital as long there is no 06/07 sign posted (after 9/1/17) or am I misreading something. I don't carry a knife short or long but I'm just trying to get this straight.

Re: Online Veteran Exchange looking for beta testers

Thanks Dale and others. Dale I will give DEERS a shot.

I also had trouble for the discount at Lowe's and had to take my DD-214 to gt hooked up with them

Maybe my problem is the fire inasmuch as I was discharged prior 1970.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem but I have been told you should clean the cylinder holes out after shooting.38 and before shooting .357 mags.

Re: Stabbing at The University of Texas

I lived in Haiti in the early sixties for a little over 2 years but don't recall ever hearing anything about a 1804 Haitian massacre. There did appear to be a lot of machetes around during my time there an was a weapon of choice for some.

Re: Stabbing at The University of Texas

Prayers for all involved and their families. A lot of lives have been shaken by this. Even if an LTC holder did step in to stop it, it would never be reported as such from Austin. The Chief of police wold indeed give his department the credit as would all of MOM's and the rest of the leftist's. Tha...

Re: What Do Texas Rangers Carry?

If you want some good insight as what the Texas Rangers carry, carried read the book One Ranger by Joaquin Jackson, RIP. Also contains some really good information about the Texas Rangers in general. Jackson really liked his guns and carried a lot of them, mostly in the trunk of his vehicle.

Re: Grand Haven man's gun missing since 1977 located in Texas

The article indicates the shotgun was properly stored for transportation when the young man was stopped. In this case could someone define what properly stored for transportation, i.e., concealed, unloaded etc. means relating to a shotgun being transported in a vehicle?
