Thanks Jusme. I was beginning to wonder if had missed something about shotgun transportation in a vehicle.

Re: Grand Haven man's gun missing since 1977 located in Texas

The article indicates the shotgun was properly stored for transportation when the young man was stopped. In this case could someone define what properly stored for transportation, i.e., concealed, unloaded etc. means relating to a shotgun being transported in a vehicle?

Re: Received incorrect information during LTC renewal process...

I have the word "Veteran" on my Texas driver's license. Had to take my DD214 to the renewal office and show it to the clerk to prove it, so I knew you didn't have to be retired to be considered a veteran. I renewed in 2016 and checked the "veteran" box for the first time. They d...

Re: Phinal Phlight

Sorry to hear about the F4. In the early sixties before going overseas I was stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C. Among other combat Marine aircraft that flew out of there was the F4, the ugliest meanest combat plane I think I ever saw, although I may have to put the Wart Ho...

.38sp Ruger LCR and SD Ammo Used

I would like to know from someone who carries captioned firearm what kind of ammo you use or suggest for SD. I have been looking at Buffalo Bore (BB) standard pressure 158gr heavy or BB 150gr standard pressure heavy full wadcutter (WC). They both get good reviews with the exception of the WC being r...

Re: Survey by Speaker Joe Straus

Did I assume incorrectly you could check more than one? After I hit submit my completed survey appeared for a instant and it appeared there was only one check near the top when in fact I had checked three.

Re: Break in period garbage

This does not really mean anything, but at my last renewal I took a brand new Glock 19 Gen3 and shot 50 rounds with nary a problem. Of course the 19 was being used for a test and not for SD but I have never had a Glock fail to operate right out of the box.

Re: Dongle Question

I'm sold on the Logitech keyboard & mouse combos with what they call their "unifying" dongle. The ones I have have been just about bulletproof. I need to replace my mouse, but that's because I've worn it out. Four years of heavy use is a pretty good run! I just bought a Logitech keybo...

Re: Dongle Question

I hate to ask a stupid question but did you check the mouse battery? Also, most wireless mice have an on/off switch. Were you able to previously see a light from the mouse that is no longer there? I personally hate a wired unit but that's me. Not stupid at all. This has happened to me 3 times in 6 ...

Re: Dongle Question

Thanks for the quick reply JohnBoy. I was not sure but I thought that might be the case. The mouse and keyboard came with the new computer (Lenovo) that I got about six months ago. Since I got the new computer I have read that these wireless devices do have their problems. Lenovo sent me (received y...

Dongle Question

Yesterday my wireless mouse stopped working. I have a spare wired mouse which I plugged into the USB port on the side of the computer and it works fine with the wireless keyboard and the dongle plugged into the USB port in the back of the computer. My question is, with the configuration I just descr...
